Atem listens to Deuce, feeling a little more reassured. He would, of course, give Gigi the space she needs. And will be looking for the right time to approach her. If she gives him a green light to do so, then he will do it with caution and consideration. And Deuce has a point. If they’re meant to be together, to hang out like they used to, then things should go fine. And maybe Atem can have his dear Gigi back in his arms. He’d understand whatever choice she makes about their relationship. He’d still care for her regardless.

“You’re right. Things aren’t over until they really are over. I’ll take your advice and do my best to fix what I can and talk with Gigi when it’s appropriate. I love Gigi and whatever decision she makes I’ll respect it. Deuce, thank you. When I was alone you’ve come to lend me a hand and I appreciate it.”

Deuce gave a fangful smile as his nest sighed in relief. The gorgon was glad he was right about the mummy monster. This was really close to when Jackson had first came to the school except monsters were afraid rather than skeptical.

Plus he knew Atem would work things out with Gigi and she would come back. The genie was one of the most understanding ghouls in the school and she cared about the mummy monster more than he would think.

He then reached over to offer the pharaoh a hand in frienship.

The gorgon didn't hesitate to motion behind him where Clawd was walking by and the werwolf offered a friendly smile.

Hearing his mom call Deuce handsome made Adrien giggle. "Yeah, he is. You wouldn't even believe how we first met. Basically out of a story book." He said before his attention was drawn to the door at the knock. Seeing Medusa walk in, Adrien subtly tilted his head down.

"I am ready. Just...collecting myself." The werecat said, double checking his makeup. When he was done he looked at his own mother again.

"Mom...will you walk me down the isle?" He asked, a small blush forming on his cheeks.

Medusa nodded with a soft smile with her nest giving small hisses before leaving the door open for the mother and son to follow through. Emilie nodded back, grateful for the gorgon and all that she had done to get the late actress here. And now she sees her son doing what he always talked and dreamed about: marrying his true love.

She looked to her son with a soft look and said...

       ❝ Of course. ❞

After double checking to make sure he was dress well and applied more of his make up, Emilie offered her ghostly arm for her son to take.

At the alter, Deuce Gorgon was standing proudly waiting for Adrien. He couldn't believe this moment was actually here. It all seemed like some like of crazy dream. Life surprises you beyond belief.

He looked to the crowd to see everybloody who came for both of their journey. All of his friends from Monster High and then some. The miraculous heroes and Adrien's friends and family.

And of course there was both of their gloomsman.

For Adrien, there was Luka Couffaine, Marc and Nathaniel Kurtzberg along with his best man Nino Lahiffe.

For Deuce, there was Gil Webber, Clawd Wolf, Frankie Stein and his BEAST man, Jackson Jekyll.

Despite being told over and over that everything was going to be fine, Deuce couldn't help but be both nervous and excited. His nest was constantly fussing, licking each other's head to look presentable before the gorgon snapped his fingers to keep them in order. He was good, he promised.

Everything was well organized thanks to the unstoppable team of Marinette, Chloe, Clawdeen and Cleo. It was thanks to them they were having the wedding of their dreams. And both Mayor Andre as well as Hexiciah Steam, who was a registered as a civil marriage commissioner for weddings since he had been found.

It was symbolic in a way. It wasn't just a wedding, it was a union between humans and monsters.

Soon, Medusa came out and the time came. Kitty Section began to play in the background before the flower ghoul, the ring bearer. Then one by one, the monsters and human gloomsmen walked side by side.

Until... the time came and everyone stood during the march...

   Adrien was happy to see the humans and the monsters getting along. It was a good sign that they weren’t so different. Who knows, maybe one day the two worlds could come together.

   The blond was surprised by all the gifts given to him. Marinette gave gold and green bracelets, signifying Adrien and Deuce being together. Luka giving him a guitar picks. Nino giving Adrien one of his old caps. And then it was Chloe’s turn. and seeing she put in the effort to put together a collage of them when they were younger and their friendship through the years warmed his heart. Chloe really wasn’t as mean and heartless many believed her to be. 

   “What, forget you? As if I ever could.” He teased before pulling the other blond into a hug. “You were my first friend, Chloe. Before I ever went to public school. I could never forget you. And I’ll always thank you for helping me stay strong. When he let go, he looked at all the gifts he now had and then at all his human friends.

   “Thank you. All of you. I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for your help. With out you guys, I wouldn’t have been strong enough to confront my father ever.” Adrien said, tears prickling at his eyes. “I promise I’ll visit as often as I can…I’ll miss seeing you guys all the time though…” He wipes at his eyes, trying not to cry. They were bittersweet tears. Happiness and sadness in one. 

Chloe didn't resist as she hugged Adrien as tightly as she could. Soon she was joined in by every member of team miraculous. Everybody one by one gave him his gifts and everyone then listened to Adrien's speech as the party began to draw to it's conclusion. Deuce stood beside him with an arm wrapped around his shoulders, knowing this was a big moment for him. Moving across worlds and saying goodbye to the other life he once had.

Adrien at least knows now that he'll always have his friends and family on the human side and his new family in the monster world.

       ❝ And this isn't a goodbye. It's 'see you later'. ❞

Deuce knows Adrien would miss his friends on the other side and had another gift waiting for him when it was ready. Should it all go well, he would be able to visit anytime.

       ❝ And you, you big snake lug, had BETTER take good care of my Adrikins! ❞

The gorgon blinked back at the blonde's declaration but merely smiled and nodded his head along with his snakes.

       ❝ With my life. ❞

Behind the gorgon, Robbeca Steam and Ghoulia Yelps were conjuring up the portal that would lead them back to the front of Monster High.

       ❝ Aahhhhuuuehhhhhhhhh (The portal is ready). ❞

       ❝ She says the portal is ready to go! ❞

        ❝ After party at my place! ❞

The portal fired up as the monsters said farewell to their new human friends, one by one they went through the portal. Some of them being gracious to help carry some of Adrien stuff through to help with the move. Deuce waved back at the miraculous family as he stopped at the portal and held his hand out to his fiancé.

He leaned into the hand that rubbed his cheek, glowing in the motherly warmth he's missed all these years. But as she pulled away and looked at him, he suddenly felt nervous of his choice of attire.

Gabriel has put him in mostly masculine things. Very rarely letting Adrien wear anything feminine. And Adrien always wondered what his mother would think of her son being, well, Not straight, and liking some girl clothes. Luckily for him, she seemed to approve.

"Honestly? Not nervous at all." He said, straightening his posture, pride filling him. "This is what I want. And Deuce makes me happy. Happier than I have been in years. And it's because of him. Granted, I never thought I'd marry a monster when I was younger. But I couldn't be any happier~."

The ghostly woman chuckled as she sees Adrien's enthusiasm return. He sounded so confident and strong. Good. She couldn't imagine what Gabriel had put him through. She honestly hoped he would have moved on to help themselves both.

Regardless... Adrien was able to move forward. It was what he needed. Even if there wasn't the slim chance of seeing him again, Emilie had faith Adrien would break free to make his own path and she was right.

She gave a tittle before the knock at the door was heard before the door opened to reveal Medusa dressed in elegant greek apparel with a long black and green dress to signify her sons.

       ❝ I guess I can see where you ran off to. Glad to see you found my future son-in-law. We'll begin very soon. I hope you're ready, my future son-in-law. ❞

Being picked up bridal style, a surprised gasp left the blond human, but there was no fight against the hold. Instead he leaned into it. Though his face was bright from blushing.

Adrien was quick to make arrangements to get ready too leave. Saying goodbye to all his friends in person, selling the mansion and everything within. And now, he was blindfolded as he was lead down the catacombs.

“Deuce, why am I blindfolded? We’ve been down here together before.” Adrien said as he was lead down. It didn’t make sense to him and he couldn’t wrap his head around any reasoning the monster had. Until the blindfold was taken off.

When his eyes were set free, readjusting his glasses, Adrien’s hands came to his mouth to stifle the small gasp leaving him. Tears formed in his eyes and he laughed softly at seeing everyone he said bye to days ago, here again to wish him tidings.

“You know there is such a thing as spoiling someone too much. Right~?” Adrien said as he looked at Deuce, teasing in his tone.

Deuce merely grinned and chuckled before he gently pushed Adrien to go fang out with both his old family AND his new ones.

Not just his school friends, team members and people from Paris. Many monsters he made friends with from Monster High came around to congratulate the couple on their engagement. A party for both worlds.

It was a real hit. Everyone seemed to get along with each other. Kim and Clawd Wolf were having an arm-wrestling tournament. Luka was chatting with Jackson and reading his melody. The girls and ghouls were especially hitting it off. Marinette and Clawdeen were hexchanging ideas for fashion lines.

Then the time to give their gifts... Chloe then approached Adrien last, surprisingly timid. Her gift was a collage of Adrien, mainly photos of her and him but also with their photos of friends from Dupoint.

     ❝ This is just so you don't forget us, or whatever. Not like I doubt you forget ME at least. ❞

   When he saw Deuce leap and exclaim with joy, Adrien couldn’t hold back the giggles at seeing the reaction. God could Deuce be down right cute sometimes~. Adrien wasn’t even worried about the paparazzi hearing them, he was so focused on Deuce.

   When the other quickly calmed down and walked back to Adrien, he watched with a held breath as Deuce slipped the ring on his finger. He looked at it for what seemed like hours. Silently looking over every little detail. This was real. this was happening.

   Adrien was broken from his little trance as Deuce kissed him deeply. He happily returned the kiss, arms wrapping around  the monsters neck. A hum escaped him as well before the question was asked. “You mean, leave Paris…Earth forever?” That seemed a harder question to answer than the other. Never seeing the bright Paris nightlights again?  The stars? The food?

   His friends?

   “Yes.” He finally agreed with another smile. “Yes I’ll move into the monster world with you, Deuce~. Nothing could make me happier. As long as I can come and visit my friends.” He mused, pecking a kiss on Deuce’s lips.

       ❝ Anything you want. ❞

Deuce grinned before he picked up the blonde in his arms bridal style, even more enthusiastic than before. If he seemed overconfident or eager, screw whoever judged him. His kitten said yes, and the gorgon couldn't help but have a little swagger in his step.

Deuce walked off with him so they could discuss the next step. He would ask how long Adrien to take to get himself ready for the move. That'll give him time to make sure everything would be set things up. Little did Adrien know that Deuce had gotten permission from all those closest to him before asking for his hand in marriage.

And he meant ALL.

So, when the final day came, Deuce lead Adrien down to the catacombs blindfolded to not spoil the surprise. Down there awaited all his friends, parental figures and even the kwamis! It was not only a farewell party, but a celebration of Adrien as their hero, Chat Noir!
