Oh man oh man I hyped this up too much 

I have been threatening to write an enemies-to-lovers AU for Bryce and Darcy for awhile, so this is it—the first part of ~10! (I was going to wait until I had finished drafting all parts, but to be honest, I am too impatient to sit on it that long lol.) I will try to post weekly-ish, but…no promises. 

Series Synopsis: (Enemies/Rivals-to-Lovers AU) Second-year surgical residents Darcy Allen and Bryce Lahela didn’t come to Edenbrook to make friends, and certainly not with each other. But when the path to greatness requires teamwork, they are forced to work together—and to cast aside the personal baggage keeping them apart.

Part 1 Synopsis: When Bryce is late for his hemicorporectomy, the tables turn in his ongoing competition with Darcy.

Part 1: Under My Skin

Bryce Lahela strutted out of the skills lab, a buoy of confidence in a sea of disappointed residents. His technique had been flawless, his hands had been fast, and as a result, he was going to take the lead on a hemicorporectomy. Him. A second-year surgical resident, one of only two who’d even been allowed in the room, due to their exceptional promise.

“Hey, Allen,” he called as he saw the other second-year resident leave the room. He smirked to see her scowl back at him. “You’re not going to congratulate me?”

“You managed to cut a dummy in half,” she answered icily. “Congrats, Lahela.”

bryce is 100% the one who does this. it drives jensen a little bit insane but he puts up with it cause at least it's funny for both of them. bryce it always touching him and bothering him, usually poking at his shoulders or arms and playing with his hands. when theyre laying on the couch and jensen has his legs over bryces lap, hes Always flicking or touching his thighs and shins, occasionally squeezing them as hard as he can and going as far as pulling at his leg hair until jensen yells at him to stop (jensen Despises when he does this but its so fucking funny). bryce def isnt clingy in that sense, its just when the opportunity presents itself, but he will take any and every chance he can to mildly inconvenience jensen

Snowfall

Snow is finally on the ground in my neck of the woods, so please have this!

Not sure if this counts exactly for CFWC Winter Season, but I was inspired by Prompt 1 (even though it’s not exactly Prompt 1).

Synopsis: Darcy fights a losing battle against her feelings as she and Bryce enjoy Bryce’s first snowfall. (MC x Bryce) (Fluffy, like snow, but Darcy is self-sabotaging as per usual.)

Rating: PG-ish for innuendo, but nothing explicit.

Darcy stifled a groan as the automatic doors opened and a chill whipped her face. She stepped out of the way of the sensors, not willing to face the outside of the hospital quite yet. Snow covered the sidewalk and continued its onslaught, flurries of white dropping from a gray sky. Welcome back, winter, she thought. You have not been missed.

“Oh, hey, it snowed,” remarked Bryce, his whole face lighting up as he buttoned his coat beside her.
