I just rewatched the Little Mermaid (2023), and I am again impressed how they managed to really not sexualize Ariel at all, despite her being a mermaid/siren and half naked for a lot of the movie.
Eric on the other hand? Absolute SLUT
Did you see the sheer amount of wet/torn/see-through shirt scenes? The yearning? The sexual overtones of Uncharted Waters? This movie really said female gaze and I am here for it

Xaden not wanting her to feel like she wasnt love so he just declares himself to her had me weak, like it could've been this grand gesture but nothing between them has ever been planned or expected so he just winged it and it was perfectly what she needed. talk about soulmates !!
when u told us the declaration was gonna hurt i didnt have this imagined in my mind but im so glad it happened this way and not the way i thought it was gonna happen. it was so bittersweet !!

The Tortured Poets Department. Vi might have nightmares and he’s going to ground and soothe her with touch(if I remember your previous ask correctly) I imagine she’s going to be walking around the castle with little shadows clinging onto her
