Plant babies. I've got plans for a garden spot in front of the breakfast room window and I planned to start on it this week. One of my favorite spaces I created at the last house was the garden that I planted a bunch of small plants in and over time it became a lush and beautiful spot in my yard.

Sigh. I wonder how the new people are treating it.
The garden at this house will be a miniature version of that. Unfortunately, it's been rainy and soggy every dang day and, lord, I miss the sun. So next week instead. Hopefully the plants will make it a few more days on the patio before I can get them into the ground.
I spent most of Wednesday thinking it was Friday so today is a really nice surprise. These things happen when you have a week off of work ahead of you to look forward to.
Also...
~ Two days until Hamilton in Austin with my nieces.
~ Three days until an adventure at Eataly. Ever been to an Eataly? I assure you it's an adventure.
~ Four days until a Dallas Stars hockey game where, if we get there early enough, I'll get a complimentary Wyatt Johnston bobblehead which I absolutely need in my life.
~ Five days until my birthday and hopefully lots of enjoyment and maybe cuddles of the purring type at a cat cafe full of rescue cats followed by dinner at my favorite restaurant. I'm still deciding which one is my favorite.
~ Six days until I visit the largest rose garden in the U.S. Did you know that was in Texas? Because I didn't until recently and April is supposed to be a peak blooming time so yippee!
In summary, there will be several days of Hurray for Me Doing Things I Enjoy in celebration of me making it another year and it may or may not culminate with me falling in love with a cat.
The secret to being a private person is to overshare dumb shit so people think you are an open book but then not tell them any of the important details of your life.
Sometimes you just gotta let an email sit in your inbox until you’re confident your reply won’t start with “listen bitch”
