Aaron is your divorcee neighbor; has been for about a year. Within that year, you’d say you’d become pretty good friends with him as well as with his son who he had with him most weekends. To anyone, it was all seemingly platonic from both ends. You’d bake and gift them batches of sweets and he’d take down any packages you may need sent out on his way to work in the morning…etc.
Any unspoken feelings either of you harbored unfortunately only began to come to light when his ex wife, Hayley, was horrifically killed.

Do you remember when I sent you this? Well, I finally thought of a name for the baby girl. The name is: Jamie.
For Sirius, James is like a brother to him and when he needed him most and when he ran away from home the first person he ran to was James. It's really cute to think that he would name one of his children Regulus and it's also really cute that he wants to honor James in this way too. (Surely when James held little Jamie in his arms and asked what her name was and heard you say it he cried and wanted even more to protect her from all the evil in the world) <3

You looked over to the little window of your classroom door while in the middle of demonstrating to your students how to create clean, even coverage brush strokes with a paint brush and saw James Potter, the school’s gym teacher waving at you.
You smiled, held up your pointer finger informing him to give you a moment and continued on explaining the method.
“There, that easy” you said to the group of twelve year old children once you finished. “Now I want you all to practice this technique on the mosaic sheet designs you made yesterday. I’ll be coming around checking your progress in a bit,” you concluded.
As the kids stood up to gather their painting supplies from the back of the room, you went over and finally opened the door.

His daughter is just sooo soo sooooo wrapped around his finger and boy does baby girl know it!!! Anytime she’s in need of James’s attention she knows all she has to do is cry and he’ll be at her reach in seconds!
You’re cleaning off the table by the entryway of the house to make room for the new seasonal decor you picked up while out shopping that morning and have baby girl in the carpeted area of the living room, locked in by her portable rainbow colored safety gates. No lack of entertainment of course as she’s surrounded with her favorite toys and has a show playing for her on the television screen.

Noooo because being somewhat accustomed to Sirius just always adoringly staring at you for absolutely no reason other than the fact that he loves you and then having to get used to his mini looking at you the same exact way!
You’re cooking a little mac and cheese meal for your little boy and have him all set up in his high chair so he won’t go getting into trouble now that he’s toddling. Sirius then comes in from getting the mail and sets it on the kitchen counter and sees the look in his son’s eyes. There’s no questioning what who he’s looking at and can’t help but join him at the perfect spot for viewing said thing person.
Now standing behind the high chair, Sirius places a kiss on the boy’s little head.
“She’s amazing isn’t she…” Sirius speaks to his son as his own eyes fixate on you similarly, if not exactly, the same way your son has his.
You turn from your stirring upon hearing the indirect compliment and smile when you see the pair of them looking at you with warm, dreamy looks.
“Oh stop, he’s just happy about the mac and cheese he’s going to get, aren’t you handsome boy?” you say, directing the last words to your baby.
“Doll, you could be making goop and we’d still be looking at you the same way. You’re our goddess, what do you expect?” Sirius comments with a wink.
“Isn’t that right kid?” he then says to his son who’s smiley gaze is still very much fixed on you. <3

So I feel like I have a couple pieces (at least one I’m sure) of something like what you’re asking for soooo to avoid the chance of copying my own work (😂) I changed it up a bit and did something a little different!
