A Helping Hand ? Or an excuse to be a hero? {F.W. Imagine}
Along with the rest of her classmates, Y/N runs out of the classroom coughing and gagging at the smell of the stink bomb that was released in the room. The only person who was still in the classroom was Professor Snape. He had to stay to get rid of the smell. Everyone was glad someone set off the stink bomb since the majority of the class did not do the essay for the lesson.
Y/N starts to waft the air around them since their senses are still clouded by the stink bomb. All they could feel was someone’s breath as they leaned in close to their and whispered softly.
“You’re Welcome L/N”
“Huh?”
Y/N spins around in confusion to find out they are inches away from Fred Weasley’s face. They gulp, nervous at the close proximity, and mumbles.
“What do you mean, ‘You’re Welcome’ Weasley?”
Fred smiles as George joins them and wears the same exact smile. George speaks up.
“You see L/N, we knew -”
George leans in, purposely saying out loud as he ‘covers’ his mouth from Fred.
“Especially Fred knew that you forgot to finish your essay…let alone start it so we thought we’d do our favourite person a favour and cause a distraction with one of our best pranks.”
Y/N smiled at the twins. They always seemed to be Y/N’s heroes when they need one. George spots Angelina still gagging at the smile from the bombs he and his brother have set off so he decides to check on her, leaving Fred with Y/N. Y/N tilts their head while staring at Fred as if they were trying to figure a puzzle and starts to smirk.
“Was someone worried I was going to get detention?”
Y/N raises their eyebrow and continues to watch Fred as he tries to play cool. Fred smiles and shrugs.
“I mean, you’re a better partner in crime than that guy over there. Couldn’t suffer with him since he’s not good at pranks.”
“Pfft. Lies!”
Y/N and Fred continue to play argue when Y/N decides to shut Fred up by placing a kiss on his cheek, causing Fred to look at Y/N shocked with a smile on his face. Y/N leans forward and whispers in Fred’s ear, making him blush slightly.
“Thank you for being my hero”
Y/N smiles at Fred and walks off to the library to finally start on the essay for Snape.
Fred watches Y/N walk off and smiles to himself and subtly touches his cheek.
“…Wicked…”
