Some practice before serious stuff :) <3 wish you all a great Valentine’s /especially to those, who don’t even care/ PS> can’t draw guys, this was a real struggle but I have to try new things, so... Patrons, layer breakdown (not a great one, this one shows how much of an amateur I am) in an hour or so. I reblog things here btw - @kathalalunablog

The Mayor. We’re moving and I have a small artshow in a few days, so I can’t make art as much as I want to. :) Looking forward to next week already! And thanks to @withlightsandsound for framing my picture and hanging it on the wall! The feeling that your art hangs on the other side if the World is priceless :D !   Patrons content: layer breakdown< writing January II<

They knew the night by heart. And all the the night creatures of Melmoth knew them. Even though their heavy boots barely made a sound on the shingles, The Nightmares were experimenting with a much quieter way of moving above the city. ♥ layer breakdown for patrons ♥ This one took me way longer than I expected, but I’m so glad to have it finished. I’ll drop another two links here in a few hours - blog about writing structure and my plans for 2018. ♥

Everything was falling. For a while she felt the space, the whole room filled with eerie vibrating buzz. How could her skin suddenly feel it’s own shape? Floating inside her own body, somehow distant from herself, yet more conscious then ever. well I wasn’t very confident doing portraits so this one took some time. definitely need to do more of these... >process for the secret few of patrons< Old Sketchbooks ♥1  ♥2  ♥3

Filled with energy and looking forward to the next year! TLDR? > 2017 = I’ve had depression, then tumblr happened, thanks and happy new year! This year isn’t over for me yet, but since everyone’s posting 2017 closure posts, I thought I’d sum this now. ♥ The art above is my postcard design I’ve sent to some local publishers, so I’m sticking to my plan :) I’ll be back with a bit creepier art soon. Thanks so much to everyone who reads this. Especially thanks, if you’re a grammar freak - I love you, please read this and PM if you find anything that triggers your inner bulldog, you’ll help incredibly. ♥ Tumblr community, guys I’ve met here, friends I’ve made, you all helped me so much to gain some confidence in my art and get better at it in the last two months. Because the first three quarters of the 2017 was probably the worst time of my life. Some may say, that seeking validation from internet strangers is the worst pandemic, they also say, chatting about personal issues is a weakness. Well I don’t give a fuck about what some people say. There’s a human being that replies, that reblogs, that comments. Okay, sometimes there’s a porn bot. But the point is - this internet ‘pandemic’ really helped me out, as I went through a major depressive episode and I slew the monster successfully. :D SO glad. ( @habitica - thanks for the app guys, it’s been really dark until I’ve started  XD ) Your likes gave me confidence to get better, even to start writing my own graphic novel, you’ve send me useful links with a lot of info about art and publishing. We’ve exchanged books, critique and encouragement. My most reached post was reblogged by @teakip, and some very cool people PM’d after that! My second one was reglogged by @o-blivia so hey! thanks for exposure ♥ I’m in a daily / almost daily contact with some friends I’ve made here and I’ve even started my own Patreon! Guys that encouraged me the most, during these two cool months were @kopell , @withlightsandsound , @willis-miggles , @meggobro , @monsterdoodles, and @rozillustrations thanks so much guys ♥! Some of the coolest art I’ve seen in 2017, if you’re interested> @artofbrianluong @endo-sinomori @funaru @efiolin @aledelatorre @tilliewalden @natoyuka @sleeprealms @yurishwedoff @miranda-meeks Any suggestions, or questions, PM !! Found any bad grammar here? Please let me know XD

‘’According to legend, The City of Melmoth was founded by an old merchant. The legend claims that he traveled from some ancient Roman city after his house disappeared in a devastating fire. Tired, without any money, nor anything he could sell, he sat by an old oak and fell asleep. His cunning subconscious of a skilled merchant, offered him a wonderful saving dream, in which the tree offered him eternal life. He didn’t believe the silly dream of course, but he thought, that maybe others would. Every time, someone walked by, the well versed fraud offered them a branch, with a promise of magical powers. The travelers, very naive those days, exchanged everything they had, for this useless piece of wood. Many of them, craftsmen and those, who had nothing to lose, stayed to share the company of the magical oak and the mad merchant. And now, here we are. In the Souvenir shop selling the traditional branches and sticks, real oak, just don’t expect eternal life.’’   The crowd of tourists giggled merrily, spreading a slightly drunk stench, and each of them bought an expensive useless stick. Zora collected the money and chucked them out with a tired smile. ♥ Please PM or comment if you see some bad grammar of if you had any suggestions, I’m just gathering ideas at this point! ♥ A short blog about some real life inspirations and the wordplay that fueled my creativity here > click ♥ ♥ Layer breakdown gif for patrons > click ♥

The City of Melmoth was a huge labyrinth, not a street was straight, no square was really square, there were no right angles whatsoever. The narrow streets curled in a way, which could only be planned by a very drunk man, trying to draw some unicursal riddle. And it most likely was. Rum and grog were present at every significant event that ever happened in Melmoth, and most tourists believed, that rum was the main export that kept the city alive. omg the initial sketch for this looked like from a preschool XD • layer breakdown < patron only click, but check out my patreon anyway, Juri just finished the sound design for the title video, :D the music made it look so much more *pro* than what it was before !

It was night again. The city was swarming with whispered lies of the upcoming day and with happy chatter of the naive crowd of tourists. The city was swarming with moths. Trying to set some “real” characters, these two have names already but I’m still not completely sure. :D I guess these two are the Nightmares, they steal from tourists and live on the rooftops. • A little bit more of the story > CLICK • Process > $1+ Only <

It doesn’t seem like it, but preparing to launch Patreon is pretty time consuming :D This is how I imagine my Patreon ♥PATREON♥ < wow I can click this now xD as a cool diary with multiple parts and locks. I’m giving it another day or two to fill it with content I have prepared, but not finished and after that I’ll just write all the descriptions there :) Anyway, I have 7 slots free for commissions, 7 slots free if you want some huge prints, 77 slots free for small prints and endless blank space that needs some digital food. I earn $0 dollars right now and I’m ready to reach a goal of $7 ! XD

SO.. A GIVEAWAY

Hey! I want to give some prints to strangers for free! You can choose which of my illustrations you want to print. Okay tbh ofc it’s for the exposure, but the giveaway is real! I’ll give away three prints to random creatures that will share this post. > CLICK FOR RULES, SHARE UNTIL SATURDAY the 18th of November - 8AM EST // 1PM GMT // 13:00 GMT < The thing that taught me /how to art/ was actually an old sketchbook I’ve found on the floor of a grocery store. It belonged to some random older guy / idk who I swear /, who became my hero for the next few years. So I want to be able to share similar experience with someone. I’m launching Patreon over the weekend, a kind of personal, sometimes mysterious and slightly retarded and sometimes very straightforward, art related diary. I’ll try to be as resourceful as I can.  * Most of the pages will be free, but you’ll have a chance to unlock some of the secret pages. So now, if you want to help me get a boost, please share. Hope I don’t I spend the money on prints and nobody actually wants them.

So :D the Random Chosen Ones /not that this had any effect on my following/ are:

@moonuniicorn - the blog tag doesn’t work but I left you a PM

There was something magical in the morning regret.. So I’ve had a chat with some of you guys, and basically I’ve decided, I’ll just write about getting ideas here. I’ll be starting Patreon this weekend, where I’ll keep a diary of resources and work process. This one’s face was inspired by > Rabia Khanalizai /click/ < , a collage artist I’ve found on tumblr. These collages are so simple and yet so great for imagination, check them out! @rabiakhanalizai Also if you want to read a great story that probably gave me the whole idea of a humanoid town, there’s this short fairy tale The City, by Hermann Hesse, he was writing a life of this City as if it was a living person. It was written in 1910, but you can still relate to it to this day. By the way, Herman Hesse’s Fairy Tales were most likely inspirations for many famous authors. You can find a fairy tale that has the same feeling like the first chapter of Harry Potter, or one that describes characters very similar to Cersei and Tyrion. Love the book. And guys, make sure to turn off /The Best Stuff First/ Option on your phones because a little kitty is crying somewhere and will jump off the roof if you don’t. They have many lives, but don’t let them spend one on this.
