July 7, 1814 - The expectations were as high as the chandeliers at the Bridgerton Ball two nights prior. And the night did not disappoint. Our forgone diamond of the season made an appearance at the social event. A fact that is expected given the close relationship between the Beaumonts and Bridgertons, but a pleasant surprise given her recent absence from social happenings. While previously the center of attention, Miss Beaumont danced only once at the Bridgerton Ball with one Mr. Alexander Beaumont. Yes, dear reader, her brother. This leaves us with the lingering question: why did Miss Beaumont choose her brother over the allure of a potential match? It seems that Miss Beaumont is simply tired of the ton's social scene, or perhaps she has lost some of her shine now that her best friend has left for the countryside.

July 5, 1814 - And, dear reader, you will be most unsurprised to learn that the Featherington sisters were seen wearing ghastly gowns at yesterday's ball. Indeed, one cannot fathom how the bright citrus hues can do anything for their complexion.

But there are more important matters to discuss. Miss Y/N Beaumont was, once again, notably absent from the Danbury ball yesterday evening. It seems her absence is becoming a recurring pattern, seeing how she has abstained from the previous five balls! Her presence is dearly missed by eager bachelors and ambitious mamas but by Mr Henri Deschamps the most. Miss Beaumont and Mr Deschamps had seemed to form an attachment in the past weeks, and he is undoubtedly disappointed that our elusive diamond has paused her social appearances. Perhaps we will not see a match for Miss Beaumont this season. But who will take her place as the diamond of the season? Surely not Cressida Cowper, whose dance card was utterly void of any gentlemen's names at Lady Danbury's abode last night.

what really makes me sad about the cancellation of lockwood and co is that there is so much we will never get to see. so many amazing moments, cases, storylines, plots. so many quips from the skull, and locklyle moments. so many shots of a very exasperated barnes. whole character archs that will never be fleshed out, never even discovered for so many — like quill and flo. lockwood’s backstory, george’s hilarity, lucys growth. whole characters we will never get to meet on screen, jessica, don, celia, holly. the problems source will never be uncovered on screen, we will never see jessica’s room, we will never get to watch the iconic empty grave final showdown. the venture to the other side. penelope fittes and marissa revealed.

so many amazing moments, so many amazing characters and scenes and archs and plot lines and dialogue and details. there is so much we have lost and i think we all have a right to be sad, and even heartbroken and devastated over this.

oh yeah we also all definitely have the right to be pissed off at netflix.

You can't do that ANYWAY get fucked and treat your writers with respect

Netflix keeps stabbing themselves in the gut and then complaining that they’re bleeding out, it’s beyond asinine.

I hope their bullshit decision gets enough backlash and attention that another service picks it up and shows Netflix what a stupid move they made.

There’s basically no reason to keep paying obscene prices for a severe lack of good shows and when you do get a gem they cancel it because it isn’t a Stranger Things level money grab

i’m just so tired of netflix not giving shows a real chance to shine. of corporate greed being the main motivator for if i get to see my favorite people on screen again.

i get so emotionally invested in these fun stories and amazing characters, and then i learn about the creative team behind and in front of the camera, bringing it all to life, and i get even more invested!

and then the bigwigs who do not care about anything except money and views go and shut them down. i’m so sick of it.

i just want it to bite netflix in the ass. i need it to.

Y/N L/N: In Pittsbrugh we had a few days to relax before the show. Everyone was catching up with family and having a nice time to rest. And in those days, I really found out what it was like to have a family around you.

Slipping quietly out from under the covers, Y/N’s feet hit the hardwood floor. Looking back at Eddie she saw that he was still fast asleep on his front. Picking out clothes from her bag, Y/N quickly got changed and left the room, leaving the door open a crack. 

Letting out a yawn, Y/N walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. It was early, earlier than she normally woke up. Looking at the clock it was only eight in the morning. Y/N expected no one to be awake when she walked into the kitchen but Eddie’s mother was sitting at the kitchen table reading a newspaper, a nearly empty cup of tea in front of her. 

I hate being bi sexual. Or what ever I am at this point.

You still hadn’t quite gotten used to your new home. Especially at night it was very hard to actually tell where you were but after a couple of minutes and occasional stumbles in the dark, you had finally reached the completely empty kitchen. Finding the ingredients that you wanted was another challenge you hadn’t considered, yet after snooping around and opening quite literally every cabinet, you managed to find them and get to work.

The middle of the night was not the ideal time to bake cookies but it was the better alternative to tossing and turning in the bed.
