the reason why i haven’t been online is because i suck but i’m making a multimuse of old ( and maybe new ) ocs because i suck so yeah when that’s done i’ll drop it like a pancake that’s hot for ya’ll much love <3
Adrian has just relocated to LAS VEGAS ( though city can be verse dependent / not a stagnant location to be flexible for any & all muses ). He has found an apartment with low rent in a not so nice part of the city. With no job & no stable income , Adrian resorts to small pick-pocketing & thievery to make ends meet on the down low. On the front , he goes to the park once a day for three hours performing acrobatic tricks for tips.
CURRENTLY , he has no ties in the city. No linear goal or idea in mind. All he believes he needs to do is survive. This is his prologue. His opening scene. In this moment , his act is always fluctuating : the Adrian you see today might not be the same tomorrow. He reads people & acts accordingly to their likes & dislikes. He parties more , drinks more , smokes more.
He’s a floater , a wanderer , not really seeking for a purpose but hoping one is seeking him.
so this is like , basic bare bone info of adrian’s back story after he relocates from the circus. this will go over his adjustment period , before he finds julia , & before he starts working in the casino. this is ALSO before he reunites with his mother laurel.

❛ s’not like i don’t wanna learn. more like i’m so forgetful that i buy a plant & then a week later remember to water it. ❜ for once , not a lie. adrian never had a symbiotic relationship with plants. they required too much care & attention that adrian could never muster the energy to give. which is , sort of ridiculous , since he can take care of two cats pretty well.
he puffs out his cheeks & expels a short gust of air , fixing his face to look contemplative over her herb garden. ❛ i have no idea what these even are ! my knowledge is so limited , like. all i know is that you throw some barley or garlic into a bowl of soup ? fine cuisine. ❜

yo petition to have more dark skinned oc characters in the manga / anime roleplaying community. & honestly just in general lmao. like , the lack of diversity in that area is honestly quite saddening. i understand that you’d have to color icons & stuff because lmao whitewashing ain’t a thing to endorse , but seriously once you get into the hang of it it’s not that hard ! & to do research on a character that comes from a diverse background that’s different from yours isn’t that hard. i mean we do it already playing characters that come from european or asian descent. it is 2017 & we need more diversity ! more black ocs & latinx ocs & dark skinned asians ocs , etc ! there should be more melanin on this dash ! because this world is colorful & compromised of more than just one skin tone. like ! there are so many resources out there & if you ever need help writing a character of different racial background i can definitely be a resource ( i love talking about blackness come at me ).
but legit. it’s 2017 & diversity is stagnant. there should be & is no excuse for this.

OKAY, so, far to say i definitely wasn’t expecting this, like, ever. i mean, being an OC blog i never expected to break even 500 followers – & yet, here you all are despite that! i feel truly, truly blessed to be able to say that i’ve met some of the most interesting & wonderful people thanks to this blog, & cultivated some of the most important friendships i’ve ever had. i hope, not only to meet more unique individuals to befriend but to continue getting to know all of you!
this blog, for me, has always been a way for me to keep my head above water in terms of my mental health. depression has been a constant in my life since before i even knew what roleplay was, & it has taken it’s toll again & again. i made this blog so that, on days when i felt like i couldn’t even get out of bed, i could at least turn my laptop on & read a thread or two i see on my dash, reply to someone’s post or ask them questions about their muses. even when i felt like i couldn’t do anything, i could always look back at sachiko, a character i am truly proud of, & feel a little more worthy of being here.
you have all, in one way or another, helped me grow as a person & writer, & i can only hope that i make following me & my silly daughter worth it for all of you lovely people.
thank you for making the place i come to feel a little less hopeless, a wonderful, warm & fun place to be. it is honestly all down to you, who light up my dashboard with your creativity & laughter.
