uhh hi

so i took a hiatus because i didn’t have time for tumblr because of school, but sometimes i do browse the site for a few minutes again and i realise that it’s very negative, so i don’t think i’ll ever be as active as i was on this site again, just to warn you

if you need to reach me i have a snapchat (xdeadskeleton), you can add me if you tell me who you are

have a good life, farewell

HI so our abitur (which is like the equivalent to .. idk. high school diploma? a-levels? anyways it’s dang hard plus i live in the region where it’s second hardest nationwide) is in a month and i’m considering going offline for that timespan in order to fully devote myself to studying and getting all the work done !! i’m going to go on semi-hiatus for the next week and then on full-hiatus for the rest until 2 may ! wish me luck & hope life treats you well 💓 pls rb to boost !

You never realize how fuckin’ bright white is on a computer screen until you’ve had f.lux for a while, and suddenly disable it.

Do your eyes a favor:  Get f.lux.  It adapts your computer screen to the time of day in your area, and it puts a lot less strain on your eyes.  If you do a lot of work from your computer–drawing, writing, etc.–it is a godsend.  I was hesitant when someone first recommended it to me, but now I couldn’t do without it.  Considering my tumblr dashboard theme, I’d probably be damn near blind by now if I didn’t have f.lux.

I noticed this is going around again, and wanted to bring it back for anyone that hasn’t heard about f.lux yet.  I still use it, and it’s still awesome.  The fact that it filters out blue light actually helps you sleep better, and yes–it can be disabled for color-sensitive work.

i think it’s a shame that so many people speak perfect english just from the internet/tv and get no real recognition for it. there’s this horrible assumption that being fluent in english is just a given (propaganda from americans in cargo shorts i believe) and english is brushed off as an “easy” language. that isn’t the case at all and if you’ve learned english that’s amazing and im honestly in awe. i hate that people achieve so much to reach the minimum expectation, and then english speakers will pat themselves on the back for being able to count to 10 in french
