this got way too long so i made a List Of Reasons Why He Would Be A Good Husband

  • has a lot of money. self explanatory. like you should marry for love and all that but my man is almost european royalty like be serious
  • knows how to cook. as long as youre not vegetarian youre great
  • will do his parts of the chores. i mean look at how spotless his house is. and you think this control freak hires someone to clean for him? nu-uh
  • good at communication. he's a psychiatrist, its his job to yap yap yap. and he's very understanding for it. he wants to understand you on a deep level (how literally? well)
  • hot. look at the man idk
  • great social skills. youre awkward around people? dont worry he'll be glad to do all the work
  • values your comfort above all. you got an annoying coworker? dont worry, they wont be seen again
  • amazing time management skills. how does he get so much done? no one knows, but he will always have time for you
  • takes interest in your hobbies. his reasons are to why may be dubious but oh well
  • no comment on his paternal instincts. who wants children in this economy anyway?

I recently had surgery, and at the time I came home, I had both my cat and one of my grandma's cats staying with me.

- Within hours of surgery, I wake up from a nap to my cat gently sniffing at my incisions with great alarm.

- I was not allowed to shower the first day after surgery, and the cats, seeing that The Large Cat is not observing its cleaning ritual, decided I must be gravely disabled and compensated by licking all the exposed skin on my arms, face, and legs.

- I currently have to sleep with a pillow over my abdomen because my cat insists on climbing on top of me and covering my incisions with her body while I sleep (which is very sweet but not exactly comfortable without the pillow). She also lays across me facing my bedroom door, presumably on guard for attackers who may try to harm me while I'm sleeping and injured.

That's love. 🐈‍⬛🐈❤️

Last time I had a really bad migraine my cat curled herself round my head and purred sympathetically, and actually stayed there through two of her normal mealtimes. It wasn't until I was able to stagger to the kitchen and grab a protein bar for myself that she gave a very small, polite miaow to the effect of "while you're up... could you get something for me too?"

My last post on this thriller bark moment (episode 378). Zoro is in a coma and everyone is worried for him. Sanji doesn’t want the others (especially Luffy) to know what exactly happened between Zoro and Kuma, and he’s right cause he needs to respect Zoro’s honor !

Anyway Sanji looks so cute with the blue hoodie on, you guys were so right !! I need to see Sanji cuddling him cause he’s so worried and he wants him back 🥹🥹

Like Sanji flinching when a little when the touches started. Taking a step back whenever Zoro goes to touch him before stilling himself cause it's Zoro, he can't be weak in front of him (Zoro won't hurt him, he won't... Right?), him looking at Zoro (or any men really) with distrust whenever he pours him a drink. Sanji who starts to trust Zoro, but still flinches, still gets tense, still hesitates before every little touch. And Zoro is so so patient, he doesn't know everything, but he knows enough to see that the cook was hurt, and badly, by men. Like sorry Sanji is sooo baby girl coded like ohhhaegh first male character to experience misogyny for being too kind fr fr 🖋️

I read a post one here somewhere (idk how to find it now, but it was a very good post) but this person was talking about how Zoro's hair probably reminds him of his brother sometimes. It's totally unintentional- they don't even look alike- but Sanji has just associated green hair to his brother and it's a hard habit to unlearn. Zoro knows telling him he would never hurt Sanji doesn't fix it, but he hopes it'll help.

I think Sanji's fear of Zoro physically hurting him fades fairly quickly, but he still flinches because he thinks he's getting something he doesn't deserve. The constant gentleness and patience Zoro gives without expecting anything in return makes him anxious. Something in his mind tells him Zoro is doing all of this so he can use it against him later; it makes hesitant to accept any affection. He's always waiting for the other shoe to drop, any day now Zoro will use all that kindness to justify hurting him in some way. As unlikely as it is, Sanji thinks avoiding the affection all together is a better fate than having it used as a weakness against him

And when OPLA calls back to Zeff telling the crew to read stories to Zoro so he can hear their voices and recover faster, by having Sanji sit by his bedside on Thriller Bark and read him a book about the All Blue. What will you do then?
