A month late, but done! Thank you all so much for your patience. ^_^'

I got unexpectedly delayed by a wonderful surprise! After all the surgeries and ivf, my husband and i got extremely lucky. Our embryo lived and will be born around late fall/early winter! I'm just as surprised as I am thrilled!

 i'm also apparently one of those pregnant people who gets very, very, VERY sick in the first trimester. This was the hardest update i've done in ages just because it's very hard to think clearly and move one's hands precisely when you're constantly fighting off vomiting and unexpectedly falling asleep all the time. I was nervous to say anything at first because i wasn't sure if the baby would live, but it's been several weeks and so far he seems very strong so I think it's ok to give word of his existence (I'm so proud of my lil' one! Fight! Fight! Fight, Lil' Dude! <3).

Hazy Memories. (Slight AA2 spoilers) A what if Edgeworth and Phoenix reunited while Phoenix’s memories were still out of commission.

My first impression of FFXV

It's such an irony that looking at this first,

I found the character aloof and an over-the-top edgy dude (who mostly acts like a jerk) I'll never like.

But then I could see his story from the beginning, when he was a kid clueless to his burdens and expectations,

to a youth who's overwhelmed by suddenly facing all the tragic events in his life, but still keeps it to himself as he manages to smile with his friends

and finally to an older adult who's prepared for facing it all, as he fulfills his duty by giving himself up to his fate.

As if all that would be exactly what I'd feel in his situation, while his adult self is made to inspire someone like me.

It was such a beautiful plot that I grew to love this final fantasy main character a lot more than the rest, and the relationship between the main character with the rest felt really close and genuine that could make me understand him a lot more.

Idk how it 'could've been' but I still cherish the story that I got and often get emotional about it.
