Today I was thinking about that time my endocrinologist went on for 15 minutes about how the only way I’d ever be hairless would be by doing laser hair removal… Even after I’d told him several times I wasn’t interested in removing my body hair at all. Since I can’t go back in time to ask him this exact question, I thought I’d make a banner.

And because I know doctors, and people in general, love to assume so many other human characteristics are tragedies to the people who have them, here are a few more banners to go with it:

Dunno if this is useful for anyone but last year was my first time swimming since before the pandemic and I found out about swim shorts and omg i'm never going back to stupid shitty women's bikini bottoms ever again. You can actually move freely without worrying about flashing someone, you don't have to worry about your buttcheeks showing when you get out of the water, you don't have to care about your pubic hair. Some even have POCKETS.

ik you can just buy mens swim trunks but I don't like how baggy most of them are or when they have the peepee hole at the front that keeps gaping open. Also I feel like these are just more cute and stylish if you care about that sort of thing. I bought mine for under £20 and they dry just as fast as normal swimsuits (just make sure you're getting swim shorts, not cover up shorts. look at what the material is made from and make sure it's not cotton or smth). Some places also call them board shorts or surf shorts, I just found mine by Googling "swim shorts women". There are also swim skirts but I haven't tried any yet.

Anyway just sharing because I think these are sooo good and I don't understand why these are never presented as a popular option for women's swimwear?? it's crazy to me that women are expected to wear thongs at the beach before shorts are presented as an option

Small joys are hiding everywhere, in the creaks of books, in the eyes of puppies, in your favorite lyrics, in an old movie you haven’t watched since childhood, in the laugh of someone you enjoy spending time with. Those things are out there but you have to go looking for them. I promise you’ll find them, and sometimes it’s hard when you’re not paying attention and you’re exhausted, but those things are there. You will feel alive again.
