Question: how do you guys study for Psychology? Cue cards? Rewriting notes? Trying to find a way to study for Cognition and I’m just not used to the format (exams are only multiple choice)

Let me know about your study tricks!

Quick reminder, especially for you younger undergrads: Discipline is a skill, not a character trait. And just like any skill, it can be practiced and improved upon incrementally. Try not to get discouraged if you have a day, or multiple days, where you are less disciplined than you would like or need to be. Don’t quit. Don’t spend the next week binging Netflix because you think it’s a hopeless endeavour. Just get up the next day and try again. Each day you try is more practice, and each day you practice, you’ll get a little bit better, and that continual improvement will pay dividends in the long run.

Keep at it.

17.04.16 I woke up really early today, had soy yoghurt with muesli, a banana and strawberry smoothie and one cup of green tea for breakfast. :) Right now I’m reading a study about Development of Concern for others in children :)

171112 - 171118 | A green spread! 🌵 I’ve done succulent-related things before, but really wanted to do something this lovely jade-color-themed for the spread, so here we are. Happy new year!

another view at last week’s spread ‪—‬ I kind of like working a week late and focusing my spreads on what happened versus planning for what could happen. I know this method won’t always work (especially around school time) but I’m excited to try different bujo styles in 2018! ‪✧

what are your resolutions for the new year?

OH MY GOD GUYS it’s been soooo long. I had the worst ~month or so. It’s 11.30 PM, my uni starts tomorrow but there’s a huge mess, they might not open my specialization, I barely moved into my place, there’s a million things I still have to do and I just hate how messy my life is atm. I managed to take those two pics of my work space (half of it, the other half is covers with papers, drills, saws, screws, bolts you name it 😫) and my lil muji haul. I hope I will get everything under control this week. Wish me luck!

things u should do in the morning

- wake up early, like before 8 - make yourself tea/coffee and drink water - make your bed - if you feel unfocused and chaotic, write a list of “to-do”s for the day - put on some calming morning music - eat a good breakfast!!! - wash your face - do a little exercise (as little as doing 10 squats or running up and down the stairs twice)

things u should do at night

- wash ur face/take off all makeup - set ur clothes out for tomorrow - drink a sleepy tea or glass of water - put on some music (or not) and just daydream/reflect/think - dont look at ur phone!! - read ! (if u want to) - relax

💡12/100 days of productivity:

Only two days until tutoring starts! I’m still struggling to catch up but not going out without a fight yet. Cue early morning study dates in empty, dim lit libraries, and on-the-go breakfast. Studying Ancient Greek⚡️
