I do wanna say for the people on that post about cops experiencing mass delusions about fentanyl, who are claiming that the post "throws people with psychosis under the bus" or who are insisting they must be consciously lying, that cops can't possibly be in the category of mentally ill people:

There's an unhoused man who lives at the shelter near me who uses a wheelchair. He's a Nazi. Self-proclaimed Nazi, racist as hell, really unpleasant dude. He's still physically disabled. He's still unhoused. Him holding those identities does not damage or diminish other disabled or unhoused people. He doesn't "not deserve" those identities because those aren't identities you earn through virtue, they're just realities.

Like, my dudes, that is anti-prejudice 101: don't judge an entire group of people based on the behavior of one or a few people in that group. There are shitty, fascist cops who are seriously mentally ill. That does not make mentally ill people shitty or fascist. It's not complicated.
