Girls, if you’re pretty sure you do like boys but you wish you didn’t… you have options! You don’t have to date boys, even if you like them.
(You don’t have to date anyone, honestly, and it is possible to get those deep, meaningful, talk all night, “I love you so much” relationships without them being romantic/sexual!)
You can totally experiment with liking girls, I don’t care how many people you’ve heard say “experiment” with derision in their voice, they’re wrong. You are allowed to look at girls and imagine how you’d feel if you like-liked them, and compare those feelings to how you’ve felt before.
You can honestly just say to another girl, “I’ve never done this before but I wonder if you’d go on a date with me and we could see how it goes?” And you can just see how it goes.
You’re not hurting “actually” lbpqa girls by trying on this idea of being with girls and/or not being with boys. It’s okay to just… try, and see what it would be like. The possibility that you’ll find out you’re straight after all doesn’t matter - you’re still allowed to try it out!
You’re allowed to not know, and to try things before you’re sure. You don’t have to pick a label you’re 100% sure about before you’re allowed to think about kissing girls or stop dating boys or do anything else you think is reserved for “real X”. This trying-without-being-super-sure thing is how most of us figured out our orientations. You are not trespassing by doing it.
I’m not like most girls *long pause as I sip chocolate milk through my very complex straw* I’m worse
