YES SOmeone made the link!

Also notice, Norman was asked about Daryl turning back to the herd and he said he couldn’t go into Daryl’s reasons, but it wasn’t Rick.

And Melissa was asked about the one way sign and said she couldn’t go into detail.

Me gusta mucho…

Sorry but can you please explain the who is the boss easter egg thing? :) thank you so much !!!

*opens arms wide*

COME INTO MY WORLD, anon!

Okay so, at the start of The Cell we see Dwight is watching Who’s the Boss? (specifically the opening titles but I’ll get to that).

For those unaware, Who’s the Boss was a long-running 80s sitcom whose entire premise was a will-they-won’t-they get together couple. That was the show - will this couple (who live together platonically with their kids, and thus created a family) ever get together.

The answer, was they do.

In the season finale of season 7 (!!) the woman tells the man she has feelings for him (of a not platonic kind) and kisses him.

In the season 8 opener, she gives him a watch with “it’s time I said I love you” inscribed on it. The bloke finally says “i love you” to her too and they get together properly.

You see where I’m going with this? :D

ALSO, the dynamics of the relationship is that the woman has up major emotional walls and the man has to get past them.

ALSO ALSO, remember I said Dwight was watching the opening titles (which makes sure the audience 100% knows what show he’s watching). Well, these are the lyrics to the theme song:

“There’s a time for love and a time for living. You take a chance and face the wind. An open road and a road that’s hidden A brand new life around the bend. There were times when I lost a dream or two. Found the trail, and at the end was you. There’s a path you take and a path untaken The choice is up to you my friend. Nights are long but you might awaken To a brand new life, Brand new life, Brand new life around the bend.”

Which, you know, couldn’t get MORE like episode 10 spoilers - with Daryl refinding Carol and Carol being encouraged to take a chance, find a new path and of course HELLO all the “brand new life”, “new start” symbolism that we know is hanging over Caryl’s heads right now.

Then today Norman has to go and like this photo, which the creator has titled “Who is the boss?”

A tidbit? Daryl is not the only one really happy to see Carol again. Carol seems reluctant to let him go and ends up inviting him over for dinner. Bonus: As he leaves Daryl seems to struggle with his decision and he almost goes back to the house. Leaving her behind is not easy for him.

Hooooly shit, anon. Hol.ly.shit. If this is legit then you are my hero. Have any of you guys gotten this one yet??

Another Shit storm Pre-Post

I am hoping that there is not another shit storm coming but I would just like to remind all my Carol and Daryl and Caryl friends that we always have Giraffe Beth to fondly look back on and remind us of the longer shit storm that we have endured.

hey hope i'm not bothering you but i'm feeling down about caryl right now, do you mind making a positive post? like do you think they'll film again before the end of the season?

Oh sweetie, it’s what I try to do, and you’re not a bother.

Honestly right now I am SO SURE they will film together before or IN the finale, I’d wager something on it. But as I am penniless I have nothing to wager… So you can only take my word.

Latest (unofficial) spoilers are that Carol is out of the house, and going to Kingdom.

Now I believe in ep 15 or 16 Carol find find out the truth about the Saviours, and Abe and Glenn and what Daryl’s gone through. Then one of 3 things will happen:

1) Daryl and Jesus will show up at the Kingdom to inform Ezekiel they have realised Negan is up to something and then need people to go to the ASZ.

2) Carol will got to Hilltop to see Daryl and Maggie and Sasha, and they will all go together to the ASZ when Jesus says something is up.

3) Separately she and Ezekiel and Morgan decide to travel to the ASZ just as the line-up happens, and Daryl is doing the same with Sasha and Jesus, and they meet up after they chase all the Saviours away.

And then they kiss. :D

I am certain they will meet again and talk (or more) before the curtain falls on this season. It’s been built up too much (in terms of episode 10 and them parting with secrets and unresolved issues) for them not to.

Quote from Kirkman in 2014

“We have very specific ideas about Daryl’s sexuality (or the seeming lack thereof), and if there’s ever a quiet period in the show where he’s not consistently distracted by crossbowing… we’ll tackle it in the show,”

I’m just sayin’… Daryl doesn’t have his crossbow. ;)

A tidbit? Hang on: The talk between Daryl and Carol in the creepy house is pretty intense, and you will be surprised with some of the subjects they will touch. It's definitely a definitive moment in the Caryl relationship. Bonus: Be ready for Daryl doing something you'd never think he could do. Some will call it "out of character" for him. I call it "character development"

Interesting, nonny. We haven’t confirmed any details of this scene beyond what we’ve shared, but we’re always listening to what our little birds tell us.

The thing is, we don’t release any spoilers unless they’ve been thoroughly vetted. It might take us a bit longer, but we’d rather be slow and sure than jump the gun.

So thanks for tidbit, we’ll look into this.

Nicotero May Have Spoiled...

Mostly because I’m evil, I’m posting this here, in an effort to gain the most possible views.

Yesterday, EW released an interview with executive producer Greg Nicotero from TWD.  Within this interview, amidst bashing and trashing spoilers and spoiler seekers, and defending the ratings-grab finale from season 6, brainiac Greg slips up with this comment (behind line b/c spoilers):

Avatar

Let’s recap! What we know so far - spoilerwise:

  • In episode nine, Daryl will have escaped Negan’s sanctuary and arrive at the Kingdom with Rick and co.
  • Later on in episode nine, Rick and co. will leave the Kingdom to return to the ASZ.
  • Daryl will not go with them. Instead, he’ll stay at the Kingdom.
  • If you thought he stayed there because it was safer or because he needed a doctor, well then you’d be wrong because, come episode ten, Daryl is on the road again. With Ezekiel and some Kingdom people.
  • Now I’m pretty certain that there is nothing else at this creepy house that would be of interest to Daryl – just Carol. So I think it’s pretty safe to say that she is the sole reason he stayed at the Kingdom and traveled to where she is staying. His goal and top priority is finding her.
  • It is especially huge if Daryl is still injured (which I think he will be). Because that means injured, battered, exhausted, malnourished Daryl wanted to see Carol so badly that he pushed all of this aside to  go to her.
  • Carol and Daryl will reunite in the creepy house.
  • They will have two long, full body hugs.
  • Their goodbye hug is “pretty sweet”.
  • They will have a deep conversation alone together inside the creepy house.
  • Daryl will threaten and possibly beat someone who plans to harm/kill Carol. (Note: this is still somewhat of a rumor at this point.)

So… it is still very early in 7b and look at all the amazing things that are happening already! This is shaping up to be a great season for us Carylers.

I saw a rumour today (9/2) that the hug "ain't no brotherly hug". I'm guessing this is new, additional info, different from the older info we have received? Since I consider you the Sherlock Holmes of the Caryl fandom, do you know anything about this? If not, could you do some sleuthing and see if there might be some merit to this rumour? Thank you.

I can only say that I have heard the same rumour.

I can’t verify if it’s come directly from a source, or it’s interpretation of something different a source has said, or interpretation of the stuff we already KNOW sources have said (that the goodbye hug is particularly sweet).

But I will just say this, the fact that unbiased, non-shipping sources SEEM to be indicating that the goodbye hug is somehow a level above the hugs we have seen before; that somehow it conveys a lot more emotion than your standard hug - well, that says to me A LOT, a lot, a lot.

It could mean that we will see something completely unplatonic or it could simply mean that it’s something that convey’s how much Daryl cares for Carol, but the KIND of caring can still be interpreted. Either way, I think it’s clear we are going to made aware of how close they are and how much Daryl wants Carol in his life.
