okay, i’ll inflate the air mattress then. *he goes to his bag and pulls out an air mattress and a pump. he goes into the tent and unrolls the air mattress and fills it with air until it’s full. he leaves the tent and gets the sleeping bags out of his bag* okay, the mattress is set up. here’s your sleeping bag. *he hands genji a bright green sleeping bag.*

-He yawned and put his bowl down- Time for sleep, then. -He fished out a few blankets and set himself up in the tent, burying himself in layers of warmth-

*he went back into the tent and wriggled into the sleeping bag after he laid down on the mattress.* goodnight, genji. *he closes his eyes and falls asleep quickly. he's snoring. quietly.*

Yup. yup, gotcha… -He rummages through what they have. Looked like a lot of instant noodles. He must have packed the food… Not really nutricious, but it was easy to make.-

*he finds a small saw in his bag. he looks up at the food that genji brought and he smiles* instant noodles? hold on i think i saw something in here that might be just the thing. *he rummages through his bag and reemerges with a few packets of seaweed and dehydrated vegetable and meat packets. he also pulls out a bottle of sriracha.* this should go well with that. *he hands the things over to genji and gets to sawing away a small piece of the wood.*

Haha… Don’t think I’ve had ramen for a pretty long time. -He digs around for a pot and sets it to the side with a bottle of water- Now we just need the fire.

*he finishes sawing off the piece of wood.* okay, just give me a second to make the pit. *he starts making a circle of stones near the center of the clearing. when he’s done, he sets the piece of log down in the center of the pit and uses the kindling and his lighter to start the fire* and there we go! a fire.

Yaaayyyy. We’re not gonna freeze to death now. Not that.. I think we would. There’s blankets and stuff.

oh yeah, we definitely won’t freeze to death. if anything, we have too many blankets. better that then not enough though, right? anyways, let’s start that ramen!

Well.. it can. But it’d have to be a lot hotter.

if we made fire that hot im pretty sure the pot would melt too, and the water would instantaneous evaporate. i think i’m safe. *he sticks his hand in the fire to hold the pot. he looks ever so slightly uncomfortable, but is largely unaffected by the flames.*

I used to have ramen almost every week…

i did too. i kinda miss that… *once the water boils, he pulls the pot out of the fire and gets some bowls out of the bags. he puts the ramen into the bowls and adds a lot of sriracha to his ramen. he holds out the bottle for genji.* you want any?

Nah, not big on spice.  Noodles, meat, and veggies are all I need to be happy.
