I wasn't tagged, but I wanted to join in!

Dessa U. Tory is a novice healer with a reputation for performing many a dark experiment in secret. It is said her dangerous dabblings in the realm of the profane is the reason for the once-upon-a-time human's most unusual looks.

Many are shocked to discover her true secret: she performs these dangerous tests...only on herself. She believes that is the best and truest way to make sure her concoctions are safe and can do no permanent harm before she is willing to offer them to others.

Still, she dances on the edge of a slippery slope. And even Dessa wonders how close she is to the darker side of morality...

(I decided to write up a character profile to go along with the D&D theming. >w< Plus, I needed a way to explain why sketchy looking monster girl = lawful good.)

Followers, go wild~!

Go nuts, followers!

Do you have any Pokémon of your own?

"Yeah, I have these guys. They may only be toys, but they can surprisingly use moves like actual Pokémon. Some moves are, of course, a bit different from the rest of their species," Sydney says. "Take Aura Sphere, for example. Aaron and Mirage both fire it like normal, but the strength of the Aura Sphere directly relates to both the pitch of the sounds, and in Mirage's case, the brightness of the light," she continues.

Are you a plush of the unova water starter?

"You mean Oshawott? I'm a human, but I have an Oshawott plush. His name is Miju," Sydney tells the anon.

"Miju, miju," [Nice to meet you, anon,] Miju greets.

Hello! Could you do some toxel headcanons? I just love them, they’re so cute!

Toxel can be bratty when it isn’t fed quick enough or played with, but an easy way to calm it down is to play it some music – especially loud rock or metal. When it evolves into Toxtricity, it will often remember its favorite songs and will play them back on its chest.

Like many small Electric-type Pokémon, Toxel will chew on batteries to give itself a jolt. Unlike other Electric-types, it can safely consume the chemicals in the battery since it’s a Poison-type, so it’s not dangerous to them, just a hassle for the trainer.

Well, if I ever get a Toxel, I'll definitely blast this song at max volume. I'll make sure that happens.

A Hoopa, a Lugia, a Shaymin, a Dwebble, a Mewtwo, and a Ducklett enter the library. They all look different from their species, especially the Ducklett. The first five Pokémon are all wearing some sort of accessory, as well. The Hoopa is wearing an Arceus-themed necklace, the Lugia is wearing a pendant with a 2000 on it, the Shaymin is wearing a little flower necklace, the Dwebble has an 'm' sticker on his shell, and the Mewtwo is wearing a purple scarf.

Lugia lets out a little roaring sound, wondering why they're here at a library. "Lugia, we're here for the sleepover," the Mewtwo says. Lugia seems to understand a bit. He tries asking the librarian what kind of books there are, and the Mewtwo attempts to translate the sounds.

Hoopa is a bit worried, and Shaymin uses Aromatherapy to try and keep her calm. The Mischief Pokémon is grateful for the help from the Gratitude Pokémon.

Dwebble and the Ducklett go outside. The Ducklett tries to find a body of water, while Dwebble tries to set up a tent. He seems to be having trouble, though.

--------------------------

Lugia, Hoopa, Shaymin, Dwebble, Mirage, and Sven have arrived at the sleepover!

You’re invited!!

Willow is hosting a big sleepover at her library through the month of August! If you’re planning to attend, reblog this post and don’t forget to follow her here and at pokeask-sleepover to keep up with everything and everyone during the event!

And…? Oh! Looks like Willow’s enclosed some details about the sleepover…!

I'll have six of Team Electro's members (a Hoopa who wears an Arceus-themed necklace, a Lugia wearing a pendant with a 2000 on it, a Shaymin wearing a little flower necklace, a Dwebble with a sticker of an "m" on his shell, a Mewtwo wearing a purple scarf, and a small Ducklett) attend!

(They all look... a bit different from others of their kind.)

You're from Kalos right? What's it like?

Dahara City, specifically.

It’s gorgeous! The buildings shine with the sun, the ocean is bright blue, and there are still some old fashioned stone buildings for history nerds.

We also have a lot of Hoopa-themed decorations. It’s our city’s patron pokemon.

((OOC: It’s like Dubai, but with pokemon.))

Hello! What do you do? I work with my Trainer in a museum! - storageporygon

Mirage shows the Porygon a note that reads "Oh. Um... I'm honestly not sure what I do if I have to work." The mini Mewtwo shows the Porygon another note that reads you work at Nacrene Museum? Cool."

Avatar

"I do! Thank you, I appreciate the compliment," Crouton replies. "Did you know that as Pokémon, we can speak directly? Unless you can't talk, that is. I can understand organic Pokémon!"

Mirage writes another note and shows it to the Porygon. It reads "I can't actually speak, but I think I know where you're coming from. Humans can't understand us Pokémon unless we use telepathy. It's all just growls to them. Believe it or not, I'm actually not organic. I was made... somewhere... but I can't remember where."

Crouton draws back a little, surprised by the statement. The only Pokémon he can think of that were built by humans are the Porygon line and certain legendaries. "That's so interesting! Can you remember what sort of place it was?"

Mirage tries remembering his origin. He presses down his head, which is actually a button, and a roaring sound can be heard. A blue light is also shown. After hearing and seeing this, Mirage actually remembers. He writes yet another note. This one reads "Now I remember! Like other Mewtwo, I was man-made. Unlike them, however, I was made in a toy factory in Kanto as a tie-in to the special celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise, 'Mastermind of Mirage Pokémon'. After my creation, some people in lab coats arrived, wanting to see me. My creators refused, so the strangers took me by force. They took me to a laboratory, where they did experiments on me in an attempt to bring me to life. After the experiments were completed, I had gained sentience. The scientists eventually did some tests on me, testing my strength and durability. The tests were neverending, eventually pushing me to blast away the wall with Aura Sphere and escape."

Crouton doesn't know what to think as the Mewtwo consults his memories. Judging from what he says, it appears as though Mewtwo is... A robot? "I'm sorry to hear you went through such a horrible ordeal," the Porygon says, shaking his head with a mournful series of blips. "That sounds like they tried to make you like Pinocchio, the wooden boy from a human story from a far-away region!"

Mirage writes another note that reads "Which 'they' are we referring to? The people that made me, or the scientists?" He gives the Porygon a hug, in an attempt to try and console it.

((you accidentally replied to the post instead of reblogging))

"My name's Crouton!" the Porygon says. "It's nice to meet you too."

(My mistake)

Mirage writes yet another note that reads "Nice to meet you, Crouton. I'm Mirage."
