In 2019, everything was different. Everyone was different. Scanning the area, Garfield lowered to a squat in the shadows of the tower. The other Titans hadn’t made contact since returning, leaving him wary of their situations. It was never really his intention to be a hero without a team, and he didn’t plan on starting now. When he was alone, that was when his past was able to push through the facade he had spent so many years constructing. His gaze focused on the approaching sentinel, which appeared to be stalking a figure like prey. “Watch out!” The words came out in a choked scream. Leaping from the shadowed area, Garfield transformed while in the air, his hands now large paws that grasped the sentinel with ease. Rip. Disbanded at an alarmingly quick rate. As his body took shape in its human form again, he stretched his arms above his head to help him adjust back. Finally, Garfield faced the figure that was the sentinels prey. “Are you okay?”

returning to the big apple, wanda had the intention to visit stark tower, where she presumed the rest of her team would be located, considering that's where they were before the breach in their timeline. the witch curiously took in her surroundings, her large summer hat shading her from the sun's rays, though it must've obscured her vision, as the next thing she knew there was a distorted yell from nearby. wanda spun round quickly, scarlet flickering from her fingertips until she observed the green beast tear into the sentinel. a mutant herself, their transformation back into a human state only seemed natural to her, and wanda nodded, with a nod. "yes, thank you. i should really look where i'm going." she sent him a smile, though concern soon laced into her features. "but you mustn't transform out here, the risk is too high."

“I’m in the mood to go ice skating. I could easily make a rink of ice. It wouldn’t hurt for at least fifteen minutes, what do you  think? It helps me think. Unless you had another idea for a distraction.” Bobby asks as he was tossing a snowball back and forth between his hands.

"ice skating, in this weather?" wanda chuckled as she took a lick from her ice cream cone, although she shouldn't be surprised considering her current company. her eyes drew to the snowball in his hands, shaking her own head with a smile. "i do not wish to cause you any pain, bobby. it doesn't seem worth it. perhaps finding a roller rink could suffice?"

“I’ve always liked that about you, kid.” The billionaire replied, no longer fighting the smile on his face as the subject of the young boy and his likeness to Tony came about. “Perk of being a parent, you’ll understand when you have your own rugrats.” Tony murmured, chuckling lowly. “Well, I want him to be better than me, quirks and all.”

"i do recall a time where you didn't." she shot tony a quick glance, only bringing up their past disagreements in jest. there were far more important matters at hand now. wanda chuckled softly, "ah, but i do. you have missed a lot, tony." the witch smiled as she thought of the twins, though she wasn't sure how exactly to explain their discovery to her teammate. "it is hard to explain, but one is just like me." she mused, before turning back to him. "i'm sure he will be. he has a good head on his shoulders --- and as it may pain me to say, a wise role model also."

“ isn’t it a dance? or was shuri lying to me. half the time i have no clue what she’s talking about… “ half was generous, there were few times where he was able to comprehend some sort of vague reference but vines, iphones and a hell of a lot more tended to be completely confusing. friends, that was a sweet sentiment — an assuring one and that and with the word he smiles. “ yeah, i guess so. “

her brows furrowed, though her smile remained as she thought over it for a second. "... ah, a dance. i suppose that does make sense, i was thinking you meant the type for teeth." wanda confessed with a chuckle, shaking her head at her own mistake. a grin grew on her features once he smiled. "but it is! as long as you are not asking about the latest dance crazes, then i'm sure i'll be able to help."

“Rude but very true,” Tony snorted, relieved someone was seeing the validity in his outburst even as a jest. “Yeah, but have you seen Peter? The kid is a mess, can’t stop blubbering to save his life.”

"i only tell it how it is." her smirk remained as she shrugged her shoulders, although still not entirely serious. "i am surprised to hear you say that of the spider-boy, seeing as he acts like you adopted him." wanda admitted, with a small chuckle. "but you are the same. when we first met, i think i understood only one of your strange references."

bucky supposed it was easier for them to discuss his inability to use technology and the fact that he really was a senior citizen that looked no older than thirty. it was still odd — probably would never be any less odd. in fairness, sam attempting to use him for a senior citizen discount at the movies was peak wild. “ huh i don’t know if i should take up that offer or not. it’s like shuri teaching me how to floss all over again. ”

the witch turned to bucky with widened eyes, although she still couldn't help her chuckle from slipping into her words. "are you telling me you didn't have floss in your days?" she asked with slight surprise, but soon shook her head. "i am only teasing you, bucky. if you do need any help with your phone, or anything else for that matter, then i don't mind doing so." she sent him a smile "it's what friends are for."

she was at a higher risk than he would’ve expected, than she deserved and bucky really did not know what to say. he assumed there was a lot more to it than he knew, regardless it did not feel right. “ it’s been a while but whose counting? not being in prison though, that’s a bright side to life. ” yeah, that was not something he needed to imagine — it was all hell-ish all around. “ i’ve been okay, still trying to figure out how to work an iphone. ”

"you are right, i certainly do not miss those days." that could've been the last time she saw him, she thought, and it probably was. the whole commotion at the airport and the horrible aftermath that came along with it. despite those thoughts, wanda laughed at the mention of the iphone. she wasn't expecting that from him, but it must've been so difficult being from another time trying to work their now daily technology. "is that so? would you like some help? i'm no expert but i can manage to use most of their apps --- or applications, if you don’t understand the lingo."

“You’d think after the whole snap debacle, the universe would give me some reprieve from time travel—not involve more of it in my life. Is it too early to reclaim retirement?”

"no, maybe you should." there was a slight upturn of her lips from her comment, but she continued. "you are getting old, tony. perhaps give the younger heroes a chance."

“ long time no see? ” the male offers not knowing what else to say. james had been in quite the shit circumstance plenty of times  in his life. after the whole winter soldier situation (aka most of his life) he was a target and yet, the mutant world knew that just as well. he was sure she wasn’t exactly thriving either. “ how’s it going? ”

wanda always appreciated the company of her teammates, even if they hadn't seen each other in quite some time, or she was unsure whether the soldier had been accepted as an avenger yet or not. "hello barnes." she smiled over to him, with a small nod of acknowledgement. "it has, hasn't it?" she thought over her response for a moment, her genes made her a target to the robotic creatures roaming most street corners and she emitted a sigh, her glance falling to the pavement. "better, i suppose. i am not in a prison, that is always a bonus." her smile returned and she glanced back up at him. "how have you been?"

GENOSHA  was  all  that  they  truly  wanted  and  just  like  others  had    (    ULTRON , HYDRA    )    they  would  take  what  they  wanted  from  them  and  leave .  they  were  never  as  different  as  they  believed  themselves  to  be .  he  had  already  sacrificed  everything  for  them  once ,  and  he  knows  they  never  MOURNED  him .  “    all we would need is ourselves .  genosha  belongs  to  maximoffs  so  it  must  be  us  that  will  rebuild  it .    ”   a  grandiose  idea , he  knows ,  but he  believes  in  them  more   than  others .     / @wandcmaximoff

crimson sparked from her fingertips as she manoeuvred the rubble surrounding the ground beneath her, turning her focus to her twin as she dropped the broken concrete into a pile with the rest. "they are here to help us, brother." she floated down to stand beside him, a sigh falling from her lips. wanda could understand why pietro held so little trust with the others, his passing meant he hadn’t seen the avengers as she had. however, sometimes she did ponder the same. since the war broke out between the group, what was to stop that from happening again? nevertheless, the mutant had faith in most of her teammates, after arriving in this new --- twisted reality, there were far more important concerns for them to all worry about. after all, the accords in place were their fault. not hers, nor pietro's. "and we will, with a little help from our friends." our. possibly the wrong word to use there. her friends would be more accurate. perhaps just associates would suffice. she sent her brother a smile. "they mean us no harm, pietro. we all have the same goals here. i do hope you begin to see that."
