Star Trek has so so many underexplored characters, especially characters of color, but the most fucked up and evil ignoring if a character is Travis Mayweather. Part of the first generation to grow up in space and then leaves his family to be in space in a different way is such an interesting character backstory with so many potential storylines and he gets one (1) episode focused on him in the entire show
