Its 27 degrees out and i live in a garage with no insulation and huge gaps where the elements blow in. I havent been working recently bc i got sick worse than ive ever been (my covid test was negative but my sisters house caught it so im pretty sure it was wrong and i think thats where it was from). heres the expense list i was given for braces. i was told to apply for care credit (which is credit for dental/medical expenses) and was approved but bc my credit wasnt good enough i only got approved for this amount down below

my jaw is absolutely messed up and uneven and my teeth are causing pain so braces are my only option at this point and i already paid the $400 for the records so i only need help with the remaining $900💜💜

So it’s always very hard to ask for help but I’ve learned it’s ok to go to community for support.

Over the past year and a half, I had to leave my apartment and job in New York to care for my mother and Grandma during the final months of their lives; both passed away within two weeks of each other and shortly upon returning to work in New York, I was laid off due to the pandemic.  

Like many of us in the community, I am working through anxiety, grief and depression while on this spiritual journey of life. 

Though I’ve been able to maintain financial security through different avenues, I’m coming to community to ask for help in securing my most basic and essential need-a safe and affordable place to live for myself as a non gender conforming individual-while I continue to heal and continue to work on my growing business ventures and providing services to the community.

2020 has been a trying year for all of us. In a time of “ social distancing,” I’m asking for community support in any donation you can spare tohelp me secure a safe place to live.
