Tabitha has absolutely no idea who this child is.

He hung his head. He blew it. Tears rolled down his face. “I’m sorry.” Today was going south real fast.
Tabitha only found annoyance in Matt’s tears this time. “How simple is it- how many times have I told everyone not to lay a finger on me?”
"T-Thousands." He sniffled. He didn't mean to upset Tabitha and he sure didn't expect an anxiety attack to be triggered.

Tabitha slapped Matt hard across the face for daring to hug him.
Matt panicked dropping Tabitha and feeling his heart break remebering Tabitha hates his guts. "S-Sorry." He felt a tear drop leave his eye.

So the single dad verse! *crack knuckles* lets get started.
•Matt’s spouse left him with the baby in the middle of the night 2 weeks after giving birth. They took all his money and their own possessions
•Matt has a son. He looks a lot like Matt but has green eyes. He’s a happy and healthy baby boy named Neptune.
•Matt is depressed but doing pretty well with his son. He has made accommodations at the base for himself and his son. Matt cannot spare the time or money for therapy.

He quirked an eyebrow. “Class? Does that mean actually wearing a shirt because I can’t find many that fit me.”
Flirting is not something Matt is good at.
“Someone with class would hire a tailor to custom make a shirt to fit you.”
He paused. He had never had that idea. Of course he could afford it too. "You're a genius Tabbi!"
