Last day of the round is very chill. Harper spent the day painting, Zoey and Bernadette were at work, and they actually all managed to sit down for dinner together!

And Harper took some time to relax before bed with a game. 😊

Harper: Jump! Jump, you bastard!

Zoey: Hm, I sense someone watching me.

Lily: Mew. :)

Bernadette has been writing a novel, fyi.

There's no hard feelings between these two, despite their spat at the graduation party. Jayne calms down pretty quickly, and Harper is well aware that she was deliberately needling him.

Has Jayne taken Lily's advice to heart? Idk, probably not, nothing happened. Or he's self-aware enough to realize that jumping into a rebound relationship with his former high school girlfriend isn't the best idea.

Harper: Hi Momma, bye Momma! I'm headed downtown!

Harper and Gaius met up again at Below Level, but pretty quickly they stopped rolling any wants about each other, which is my cue for the date to end. They agree they might get together occasionally sometime in the future, though.

I missed taking a pic of it, but Harper ran into Chiana at the coffee shop the other day and they chatted a bit. They were friends, briefly, in high school before Chiana graduated. Apparently Chiana was so excited to catch up, she dropped by autonomously with Theo. I never see her do this! She and Harper spent a while chatting about their art.

Harper can hardly believe that Chiana, of all people, is already married, but Theodore is a total doll. She'd totally be willing to try dating a Servo at least once... theoretically, of course.

You could at least wait for the papergirl to get off the lot.

Harp catches up her mom on the hot, hot gossip that Ashley Fletcher... passed his exams. 👀

Harper: Yeah, it's supposed to be, like, avant-garde. Like those shutter sunglasses.

Bernadette: ...Well, it's certainly unique, dear.

Harper has earned 10,000 simoleons! Unfortunately, she's also had bills and rent to pay, so her bank account is not currently reflecting that number.

Spotted: Felix walking Scout. What a pair of good boys!

Harper: You didn't need to walk me home, but thanks anyway.

Gaius: Of course! It's the gentlemanly thing to do.

Waiter: So what are we making today, boss?

Cook: I keep telling you, I don't need a sous-chef, I need table three's order.

Waiter: What about fettuccine alfredo?

Cook: This is a falafel place.

Harper: Soooo I overheard the restaurant thing. Are you, like, an 'entrepreneur' or something?

Gaius: Hah, no, not yet, I have a real job too, I promise. I do game testing, actually! It's really cool. Hours are a little shitty, though. How do you spend your time?

Harper: Art, mostly painting. At least I can set my own hours.

Harper: Here, try this.

Gaius: Mmmm... this could pair well in a sandwich! Maybe mozzarella, or a nice sharp cheddar and a dab of dijon mustard?

Harper: ...You're pretty, so I think I'm willing to look past this.

After sending off her latest piece, Harper wandered over to the cafe for a latte and some people watching.

Clara: I'm not lending you money to open a grilled cheese restaurant.

Gaius: But it could be revolutionary for this town! I have a whole business plan!

Clara: I'll think about it if you come up with a whole business plan that isn't grilled cheese themed, kiddo.

The grilled cheese restaurant didn't put Harper off introducing herself and asking Gaius if he'd like to get to know each other. As far as manbuns go, he's kinda rocking the look.

Gail: Hello, Gaius.

Harper: Who is that and why are they spitting your name like that?

Gaius: Oh, that's Gail, she's my ex-girlfriend.

Gail: Excuse you, I'm not just an ex-girlfriend, I have a rich inner life and a career. And a hobby!

I know these two are a good match because Bernadette thinks Zoey's table manners are funny instead of being grossed out when she burps.

Harper's bedroom might be tiny, but at least she has this beautiful bathtub again.

Lily (the cat, not the sim) is pleased to have a sim who's awake most of the night. Those two older sims sleep all night, every night! She might die from lack of attention before morning without Harper!

Bernadette: Do you have to do that in here?

Syx: Fitness waits for no sim, Bernadette! Gotta stay on top of my game. One doesn't theoretically become a criminal mastermind without a little cardio.

Bernadette: ...Can you do it not next to my new vase?
