Random thought that just came to me:

I feel like the fact that Emma thinks that the hooded figure is Regina is really significant. And it should be evaluated psychologically seeing as she’s going to Archie about it. 

Now I don’t think the person she ends up fighting will actually be Regina, but I think this vision is a metaphor and tells us that Emma’s biggest issue that she has to work through is definitely about Regina. She is afraid that Regina is gonna kill her. I can’t take that any way except romantically. Emma’s feelings for Regina are killing her. It’s stopping her from doing her job, being the Savior aka Hook’s happy ending.
