one of the things I love about The Five Doctors is how much the Master is relishing being called in by the High Council to help. he’s just so smug about it when he walks into the meeting because he knows how much these people hate him and look down on him as a renegade and now they’re basically begging him to sort out their mess. they’re offering to pay him in regenerations to save the Doctor and it’s probably the funniest thing that’s ever happened to him.
