A/N: I did a little research on what a Wakandan wedding is supposed to be like and I lifted a little inspiration from T’Challa and Ororo Munroe’s wedding in the comics. You can also see my terrible knowledge about royal stuff ;-;. Also, the language reader speaks is Xhosa. But here is the mini sequel (and final!) to Pulchritudinous Promise that everyone wanted! The cool breeze shook tall, green trees lightly. The sound of leaves rustling combined with waves crashing lightly against the sandy shores were music to [Name]’s ears. She slowly leaned back on the makeshift hammock, feet and back aching. She adjusted the low ends of her sun dress, heaving a tired sigh. A hammock wasn’t the best place to rest but it was the best she had for the moment. Before K’uk’ulkan would come and retrieve her. Nearby, Talokanil and Wakandan warriors stood guard, eyes sharp with weapons in hand, ready to attack any intruders that dared to get close.

The day was solemn, the skies were shining ahead brightly yet the air was heavy. [Name] hung her head low, the white veil covered her expression from the others. Mother held Shuri as she sobbed on the black casket before them. She felt the tight squeeze in her heart, eyes closed as she took a step forward. A hand placed on Shuri’s shoulder while another on her brother’s casket. “Death is never the end, brother. May Bast grant you peace in the afterlife with the ancestors,” She muttered. Mother wrapped her arms around both of her children, gently tugging them back as the Royal Ship took away T’Challa’s casket. Mother moved a hand to [Name]’s chin, her eyes filled with so much sadness after the loss of her son. The princess leaned into her mother’s shoulder, her cries silent as she mourned for the loss of her brother.

Life has to go on. T’Challa would want that.

Fatal Obsession

She met T’Challa on her journey, seeking help from the then prince on mending her emotions and her mind. Their friendship would escalate and he granted her safe isolation in Wakanda.

The dark skies clouding his realm, adding to the grim expression Morpheus wore. There he sat on his throne, majestic but with a deep frown and eyes dark as he stared at his forearm. Amidst the pale skin was black ink. It had two black oval eyes and a bony trunk, eerily looking similar to his helm. The longer Morpheus stared at his mark, it made him realise how much emotions he felt just with one simple look. Aeons he has walked among the living and yet none of them was his significant half. His eyes darken further, flashes of past memories involving his journey in finding his soulmate.

Many forget he is the King of Nightmares too.

Oh, the things he did, scouring the Waking world in search of his soulmate.
