Unpopular Opinion On BTS’ UNDERRATED Songs that we need to STOP sleeping on!

DIMPLE

You can say whatever you want. I will always believe that BTS’ vocal line’s Dimple/Illegal was written with Namjoon in mind, but they made the song for a girl to make us believe otherwise. Even the play on words is something only Namjoon would do. Dear BTS & BigHit, I wasn’t fooled. (I added this one just for the big crush I still have for Namjoon’s dimples, the vocals and the body rolls)

RAIN

Sincerely, I think this song shouldn’t have been released back then. Like it was out in 2014 and went right under the radar. Release it now and let it get its chance. The lyrics also work PERFECTLY with this year. Also, I heard some fans saying “I wish BTS made a song with a jazzy feel.” And me and Rain be sitting there sipping tea and staring at them like “…” Anyway, if you want to survive this year’s alien invasion, succeed in cooking just the right amount of pasta, never wake up with a pimple on an important day … listen to RAIN. 

UHGOOD

I am sure 97% read this and were like “This song exists? Oh this must be old!” Nop, this came out in late October 2018. A song that talks about someone’s inner fight with themselves for never being enough and comparing themselves to others. I am sure so many could have found a lot of healing listening to this one but oh well. 

LOVE IS NOT OVER

This is a freaking masterpiece. It’s the first song produced by Jungkook (Written by Pdogg, J-Hope, RM, Suga, Jin, Jungkook and Slow Rabbit - Produced by Jungkook and Slow Rabbit). That’s all imma say or else I will start committing crime. 

ADULT CHILD

This baby should have been shown more love. I believe any adult can listen and relate to this song. Like you wish to grow up and count the years when younger and once you become an adult, you are like: “That’s it? Can I go back?” AAAND this song has an MV HERE that has been lost in the BangtanTV channel since 2013. But it seems some souls found it during quarantine this year. This song came to life after BTS spit into two groups. Namjoon, Jin and Yoongi made ‘Adult Child’ and Hoseok, Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook released ‘Beautiful’ HERE

These songs are old but GOLD! They might not be the taste of some and that’s okay but I realized that BTS’ old songs do not really sound ‘old’ and are great. I hope this post helped some of you discover some new hidden BTS gems. Have a nice day/night everyone~
