tips for bonding with the sky
Moon go outside at night, even if it’s just on your balcony. be aware of moon phases and use them in your spell work or monthly routine. on the full moon, take advantage of the extra light to go on a hike or walk at nighttime. or take the time to do some extra divination. charge or cleanse your magickal tools in the moonlight. make the moon a member of your witchy family by talking to her, or praying to her. make an altar for the moon or a moon deity. make art of or about the moon. carry around moonstone or other lunar symbolism.
Sun do sun meditations as often as possible. spend time in the sunlight and be active, try hiking or swimming. start a garden, particularly sun related plants such cacti or sunflowers. make sun tea or make and cook in a solar oven. wear warm colors such as yellow, orange, and red. make an altar to the sun or a sun deity, outside altars or window altars would be great for this. use stones such as amber, obsidian, or sandstone. eat or work with fruit, especially citrus. compost. use happy music as a source of light. hang up a sun catcher in your window.
Stars familiarize yourself with constellations and astronomical events, such as meteor showers. get a telescope or binoculars for a better look. try to travel to somewhere with less light pollution or go to a planetarium. Learn about stellar mythology - the myths behind “Orion” or “Cassiopeia” for example. become comfortable with nocturnal animals (just don’t get near any wild ones). start logging your dreams and interpreting them. learn to simple sleep spells.
Clouds learn to predict the weather from the clouds. put up wind chimes, wind socks or pinwheels outside. spend time near fresh water, such as creeks or ponds, on sunny days. make cloud related diy’s. take photos of the sky, draw or paint them. learn about folklore or mythology of clouds, wind, or rain.
Storm collect rainwater for spellwork. do rain grounding by running around on rainy days and getting wet all over. make an altar for storms or a storm deity. pay attention to storm omens. make art about storms, water colors can be associated with rain. use the days when you are stuck inside to practice kitchen witchcraft or other indoor crafts. treat stormy days as a chance to take care of yourself and your home.
all the stars in the sky are connected by a thin, silvery thread. spirits dance on it and the stars flicker in time. everything on earth is so miniscule in respect to time. take a breath, the constellations are singing for you.

“Do you love the color of fire?”
Sometimes I forget everything is made from bits of stuff that the stars are made of, and this makes me feel warm inside.
Bedroom Witch Tips
🌿Herb sachets hung above your bed (request herb sachet recipes from me if you’re interested).
🌿Hang Dry herbs upside down in your bedroom (Lavender helps for anxiety and depression… it is very calming or Mugwort for dreams. Mugwort is very invasive, you can find it growing everywhere).
🌿Herbs placed inside your pillow sheet (I place Mugwort leaves inside to active lucid dreams).
🌿Setup an Altar near your bed: add elements of earth, fire, water and air. You can also use your windowsill as an altar.
🌿Place Black Tourmaline under your bed: shields you energetically by taking the electromagnetic frequencies, and instead of absorbing them, tourmaline changes, redirects, cleanses, and purifies the energy. This is how it handles negativity, even energies of psychic attack too!
🌿Place Sigil writings or powders for protection and restful beauty sleep under your mattress.
🌿Keep a dream journal under your pillow! Dreams can help us get a glimpse into our subconscious and the more dreams you write the easier it becomes for you to remember them.
🌿Unless you are allergic, sleep with the window halfway open or cracked to let good energy move around and circulate in your room and keep skin hydrated during the night.
🌿Drink herbal tea before bed each night. (Request free herbal tea recipes from me if interested) Mugwort tea is great to have in the evening before bed to reach high levels of lucid dreaming
🌿Smoking Herbs before bed is great as well. I recommend this book for further reading: Smoke Plants Of North America by M.R. Ross. (Request free Smoke Blend recipes from me if interested). With reverence, Rosemary Milk 🌹
My beliefs have changed slightly since I was on this blog. I now believe that the Goddess and God have a dark side they rarely show, and they punish those who have harmed their followers.
That being said, I feel like justice has finally been served for me, as They both have heard my cries and anger. It’s nice to have someone to look out for me.
Herbs Associated with Wishes
Basil is an easy herb to obtain or grow yourself. If your wish is to be protected from negativity or to be cleansed, then basil is the herb to use. Bay laurel, commonly known as bay leaf, is used in success and prestige wishes. Although this is a tender perennial, it does grow well indoors in a pot. Calendula leaves and dried flowers placed under the bed are said to make one’s dreams come true. This is an easy flower to grow. It adds extra punch to your herb garden with its bright orange, yellow, and pink petals.
Cinnamon is the spice of choice for wishes dealing with power. Hyssop is effective when used in wishing spells for spiritual calmness. Job’s Tears, sewn inside your pillow, are said to make a wish come true within seven days. Mustard seed for general wishes. Parsley is effective for wishes involving calming an atmosphere or protecting a specific place. Peppermint is best used for money and prosperity wishes. Peppermint is said to give a mentally stimulating vibration. When growing your own peppermint, be sure to put it in a large pot and bury the entire pot. Peppermint is very invasive. Rosemary is most effective when used in promotion or advancement wishes. In cooler climates, rosemary can be overwintered in a pot indoors. Rue is an excellent herb to add to your wish spell mixture because it provides protection. It is also a spiritualizing herb that adds a calming vibration to spells. A note of caution: If you are allergic to rue, it can cause boils on your skin when you touch it. Sage is good if you wish to resolve a problem. It is also a good choice for wishing spells that deal with mental clarity. Sage is a very easy herb to grow. Vervain is good for making your dreams or wishes come true. Steep the vervain, covered, in warm water for five minutes. Strain and add the water to your bath. This is the best herb to use for general wishes. Yarrow leaves and flowers are often used in wishing spells that deal with love. (source)
