Ok guys, we need to have a SERIOUS talk! Lately I've been seeing more and more of these "tutorials" on Insta and Facebook where the nail tech is working with acrylic and showing you how to do a new set/infill, etc. The problem is that in most of these videos the nail tech is on the client's skin with the acrylic brush with every stroke! They even use the brush to clean up around the cuticles and DRAG the wet brush on to the skin! 😳😳😳 Sometimes they even use their bare hands to touch and move around the wet acrylic. Let me just say - No!! Stop!!!! 🙅🏼🙅🏼🙅🏼 You should never EVER expose your client's skin to uncured products! And no, not even yourself! Always wear gloves if you are not 100% comfortable with handling your product. To expose the skin to monomer and uncured acrylic materials is undeniably the BEST way to increase your chances of getting overexposed. Once you get an allergy you can say goodbye to everything that has to do with nails. PLEASE, be careful when working with any kind of nail products and don't always believe every nail tutorial that is out there.
