I understand completely! What’s funny though is my Inquisitor’s name was suppose to be spelled Deathra, but I miss spelled it and I just kind of stuck with it! But I totally feel like our Inquisitors would get along , taking names and kicking ass along the way; two mages taking Thedas by storm!

What a funny coincidence! How do you pronounce “Dethra” (I pronounce the “e” like in “letter”)? And what’s your Lavellan’s specialization? Cheesus, I’d love to draw them! /)//v//(\

I pronouce the “e” as well and it ends up sounding like DE-thra (The “a” ends with an “uh” sound). She’s also a storm based knight enchanter… she’s pretty useless in a fight against pride demons unless she is completely up close.. but I like to think cassandra beat her ass in a sparring match after she asked how to get better at swordy stuff.

(Holy shite, really! Ahhh! I wouldn’t know what to do if you drew them!)

Also, your Lavellan is a rift mage, yeah? I think I remember seeing that somewhere on your blog.

XD The idea Cassandra would beat her ass in a sparring match is super adorable! But honestly, Cassandra would beat EVERYONE’S ass - and not only in a sparring match!  “My” Dethra is also a knight enchanter, but spirit/winter based (everything to protect her mates <3). She can take a lot of hits but focus is very rare. XD” Unfortunately. 

I’m so pumped to draw them ; o ; What do you think about the AU headcanon that they got to know each other during their knight enchanter training? My Lavellan is pretty scared of Commander Helaine XD’’

Who wouldn’t be even a little afraid of Commander Helanie! I mean she always seems super critical and ready to get on someone’s case for something! With my Lavellan I can see her trying to stay out of the commander’s sights out of fear of her.

One time in high school I was waiting to talk to the Vice Principal and this other kid came in and sat down next to me. He said “What are you in for?” And I said “Oh, they just want to know if it’s cool if I miss my classes tomorrow to run sound and lights for a presentation in the auditorium. What are you in for?” and he said that he stabbed a kid with a screwdriver. I told him we led very different lives and he agreed.

Dethra Lavellan - Coloured Sketches

A little gift for @pheolia, who is a simply wonderful person!

It was so nice to chat about our Inquisitors that I actually hope my Fen’Revas and her Dethra might actually one day meet ^.~

The dress is a little design for a ‘more lady-like-but-less-practical’ Halamshiral attire. (Shamelessly stolen together from several haute couture dresses of 2014)

‘Snapdragon’ is the nickname that we gave Dethra after thinking about what Varric would call her, since he likes to give flowernames to female Elves (Daisy=Merrill and Buttercup=Sera)

The dress is so beautiful ; O ; Dethra would love to wear it!!!
