he could have made his tech himself however its mostly stolen simply because he can

(got help from suits here with designing the costume i only really did the helmet and colors fjdgh)
so me and @weeping-obsidian were talking about his and @rambles-about-minecraft-ocs's dsmp superhero au and. i got inspired
who doesnt like some good ol rivalry between a vigilante and a villain but with a lot of yearning actually

basically, they never saw each other as they always wear helmets to protect their identity bUT one time fundy got heavily attacked and his helmet broke
so 5up saw his face by accident
it was eating at him ever since so he decided to show his own face to "make it fair"
he was about to put his helmet back on and leave but got stopped by fundy and when questions why, he just said that 5up looks beautiful
....unfortunately for fundy one of 5ups powers is being able to tell when someones is lying and when they are not.
