Enobaria looks to be about thirty and all I can remember about her is that, in hand-to-hand combat, she killed one tribute by ripping open his throat with her teeth. She became so famous for this act that, after she was a victor, she had her teeth cosmetically altered so each one ends in a sharp point like a fang and is inlaid with gold. She has no shortage of admirers in the Capitol.

Are we ready to talk about how Effie and Enobaria are basically mirror characters or not yet?

Enobaria

I think a lot about Enobaria. At first she seems indifferent, if a bit sadist or even barbaric. She ripped a tribute's throat out with her teeth, that seems fitting for a ruthless, sadist girl from district two.

as i’ve been saying i genuinely like the new live action. but the defanging of katara pains me so i had to do some quick sketches of her being angry to cope

they "toned down the misogyny" w Sokka but then made Katara into a passive child™️ when she is notoriously head strong and just as stubborn as Sokka and a Mom™️ to them all. me thinks the misogyny just got rebranded

genuinely one of the worst things that’s happened to television in the last few years (exacerbated by streaming services) is death of Filler. going from 20 episodes to 8 because “we didn’t really need that episode where the main characters went to the beach right? it had no long lasting effect” but we DID!!! we needed to see how they act without the Big Bad Plot and to establish the dynamics between the characters and lay in the sun (do they forget sunscreen? how do they react to a thieving seagull? do they get buried in the sand or do they do the burying?). the plot isn’t everything. the action doesn’t hit as hard without the quiet moments. give us character development and our little scenes back
