Hello, i was wondering if you have any leftover stock of the physical zines?

I missed the initial ordering for the physical copies so i wanted to ask just incase there was a chance i could get one.

Hello! We have received a few messages recently about leftover sales and I wanted to provide an answer. We appreciate the interest and are hoping to wrap up the project as soon as we can.

Unfortunately, we have no current plans nor a time frame for when we would open leftovers at the moment. We apologize for that, but it's due to ongoing health issues affecting Melon and the general busy-ness of our personal lives. Thank you for understanding. - Mod Dean

The Postcards From Carmen team wish you all a wonderful Cinco de Mayo! ✨💛 Credit to our mod, Dewy, for this beautiful art!  Today commemorates the Mexican Army’s victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla in 1862. Outside the US, it is mainly observed by the city of Puebla with festivals, parades, and a reenactment of the battle.

Hello! I’m very excited for this Zine! It looks amazing! I was wondering if you do have leftover stock, will you announce when the leftover sale will be or will you just reopen the store?

Yes, there will be a public announcement on both our Tumblr and Twitter when we open up the store(s) for Leftover Sales in the future!

A major thank you to the artists and team behind @postcardsfromcarmen !!!!

My package arrived earlier this week, but I’ve been so busy I haven’t had a chance to post any pictures. The different charms, stickers, and the pin all look amazing, as does the artwork inside the booklet and on the postcards and stamp stickers. You can tell a lot of care and love went into creating this fanzine. Once again, thank you everyone that had a hand in creating and participating in this wonderful project.

Production Update #12

We do sincerely apologize for the delays and lack of news over the last couple months. It’s been a task navigating production delays and our own personal lives, but we’ve finally arrived with progress.

We’re pleased to share that we’ve been able to begin the shipping process!

Thank you to everyone for your patience and we’re excited to get your items to you. Additionally, I want to personally thank our contributors for their hard work and grace through this time.

Shipping

All final production items arrived at Melon's by February 14th. From there, Melon began packaging and shipped out the first batch of orders on February 18th. Over that weekend, they finished about half of the bundles in that first batch. The second half is planned to be complete by this next weekend.

Check your emails (inbox and spam) for shipping updates! You should be able to track the package from there. If you purchased a bundle and don’t receive an email by March 1st, feel free to contact us with your name and we’ll help you out!

If you have any other issues or questions, you can contact us through our social media and the zine email: carmencardzine@gmail.com.

Production Update #11

Hello everyone. We just wanted to share a quick update on the zine and apologize for the slow progress/lack of recent updates.

Mod Melon and I are doing our best to finish this project out as a two-person team, but are also currently navigating our personal lives becoming busier post-holidays, as well as facing unexpected delays with regards to the production of our last 2 physical items.

We will unfortunately be unable to meet our initial shipping date for the zine due to supply chain delays incurred by the pandemic, as we’re still waiting for the washi tape to arrive from overseas and for the proof from our book printer to arrive at Melon’s.

As of now, there is no revised date for when pre-orders will definitely ship out, but we will keep you all updated as soon as possible.

We’re extremely sorry for the disappointment and are doing our best to solve these issues as timely as possible, despite these hurdles being out of our control.

Thank you so much for your patience and we hope to bring more positive news in the near future.

As always, you can contact us through our social media and the zine email: carmencardzine@gmail.com.

I love the enamel pin design? but may I ask, why the 85 in the corner? is that the year the CS franchise started?

Everyone working on the zine is doing fantastic, thank you all so much for everything you’re doing!

Hey, Jackie! Thank you for your support, we appreciate it so much. Yes, the "85" on the enamel pin references 1985, the year when the first Carmen Sandiego video game was released/the start of the franchise! - Mod Dean

Production Update #10

Hello everyone! We hope you all are having a wonderful start to the holiday season! With the end of the year drawing closer, we have news and updates to share about production, so let’s start!

Our last announcement had us projecting November as our shipping month, unfortunately we couldn’t reach that goal. The last few orders of merch items took longer than expected to arrive and that delayed us some.

Fortunately, our enamel pins came in on November 30th and they look fantastic! We are also expecting the washi tape to arrive within the next week. In addition, we’re still working to get the zine books ordered to be printed.

----

Our main announcement for this post is that we will be moving the shipping date to January.  While all of our production orders should arrive to us soon, we wish to provide a buffer in order to avoid the holiday shipping delays and mail errors that are common in December.  We apologize for the prolonged delay in shipping and digitally releasing the zine. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this process. As January approaches, updates will continue to follow as the rest of the items arrive. We wish you all a pleasant holiday season!  As always, you can contact us through our social media and the zine email: carmencardzine@gmail.com. Thank you!
