Lmfao just admitting they can’t win an argument when you put out the context?
They're actually right to say it's their 9/11, in the sense that it's an attack with an admittedly tragic loss of life commited by a terrorist organization that their own government helped create, fund, and arm in the first place back in the 80's, which their government and media immediately proceeded to milk to garner support for a war on terror involving a atrocities that far overshadow the attack by orders of magnitude.

I genuinely feel like the reason all the Silicon Valley tech people are going so hard for AI generators like midjourney, chatGPT, etc. is because they are so deeply insecure and frustrated about their inability to create something creative and meaningful so they just try to tech start up their way into it
They also probably look down on anyone who creates any kind of creative media for a living and think “why should I pay someone to do this when I can just do it myself by typing some shit”
They hate so much that there is an area that they do not have a level of expertise in because “STEM is the future, tech jobs are where it’s at” and that precedent has created an attitude that working in tech somehow automatically makes you the smartest person in the room. So having fields that they are just clueless about clashes with their superiority complex. They need to “disrupt” it so that they can feel like the most special little genius again.
Most of them also tend to look up to Elon Musk, a dude who’s made an entire career and myth about himself by passing off other people’s work as his own. It makes sense that they use him as a blueprint for their own lives since they’ve seen it have success (ignoring the fact that Musk was born rich)
THIS HAS ME CRYINGGG WHY IS HIS HEAD SHAVED
