⚔     I can’t believe I could even get onto this blog.

Altera will always be my favorite Fate muse to write, and my number one girl, but consider this blog closed for now.

“Then not a bow of this type.” he spoke. He lowered it so the other could see it better. “It is a bow but also a harp.” Tristan explained. The red head strummed a few strings and let the hum echo around them. “I suppose it’s strange to call it just a bow but it has served me well.” The red head looked at the saber. “When not in combat I can use it to play music.”

⚔     A harp? What’s a harp? Oh --- automatic knowledge immediately informed her of what a harp was. Altera had never encountered a harp in life. Music was not employed by the Huns on the battlefields; only at feasts, and even then... there had never been a harp in sight. So his bow was a bow but also a harp... It was strange and foreign to Altera... and difficult to understand. She didn’t like it.

“... Music?”   So music was the word to use for the noise it was emitting. She had been right earlier.

“I promise I won’t.” he reassures her.  He careful pulls her head closer into him, avoiding her veil as he does so.  “Now, how about we go get some wontons?” he asked her, trying to clear up the mood.

⚔     If Archer thought he could win her over and calm her down with food, he was one hundred and ten percent correct. Altera was satisfied with his offer, though it didn’t show on her face, and his affectionate gesture failed to be processed by her at all. “Did you create them?”

This was very important. If he didn’t make them, she didn’t want them.

Definitely the wrong choice of words!  “No one is!  You’ve successfully scared off any others from trying to get any where with me.”  He sneaked an arm out of her iron grip and reached for her wrist with it.  “Put the sword down, no one is taking me from you…I wouldn’t let them either.”

⚔     “... --- !!”  A disgruntled sound emitted from the Saber, a cross between a growl and a hum. She lowered her arm as the Archer’s hand clasped her narrow wrist and after a moment, the Sword of Mars vanished --- along with the threat of Altera destroying the entire world in that very moment.

“Don’t let them.”

Had he offended her with his question? No, perhaps she didn’t want to speak. Then it was a change; a shift in the atmosphere that caught the bowman’s attention. He opened his eyes slightly again to take in her expression and saw it was one of curiosity. “Have you never seen a bow before?” he gave it a gentle strum, a soft hum came from it.

⚔     “...”  The King of Combat had certainly seen a bow before. The conquering Huns were comprised of armies of mounted archers, after all --- the best in the world in that era. She had never, however, heard a bow make that sort of noise. Could it be called music? No, music came from instruments and that was a bow. So what would be the word to describe that noise? It was out of the ordinary... ... ... She hadn’t yet decided if it was bad civilization.

The taciturn Saber actually spoke up, rather conversational for a change. “I have.”

“Thank you Altera.” he gratefully answers.  “You don’t have to hug people that hard, they are meant to be gentle and comforting, not painful.” he explains.  “Besides…I think they know better than to take me away from you.”

⚔     Ah... She thought the harder and tighter a hug, the more he would understand the appreciation she had for him. She loosened her arms from around him even further before she caught onto something he had said and ran away with it. “Who is trying to take you away from me?”

She held out one arm and summoned the Sword of Mars to her hand, the tri-color blade dangerously close to the Archer. “Who?”
