Alucard looked to the albino nun and in a rare moment smiled. It was genuine and soft, no hostility lingered from it. He nodded and sighed. “Thank you Winter. That’s certainly kind, considering our past disagreements.” he spoke calmly while running a hand through his hair. 

The vampire emerged from the darkness that loomed over the ceiling, his raven locks falling down in a wild tussle. The rooms only source of light came from its large starlit windows and the moon’s rays that trailed through them. The smell of tobacco heavily permeated air, no doubt from the countless cigars his master inhaled. Alucard smiled and tiled his head, his eyes bright with his eager longing for bloodshed. “Say the word my Master. I’ll extinguish every last one of those mockeries.” he paused in brief contemplation before continuing. “Is there any word of the Vatican’s action on the matter?” he asked in a low growl, with no doubt wondering if he may get another fight with his favorite rival.

The soft and warming glow of candles filled the room, casting dancing shadows on the old furniture and worn stone floors. Alucard tilted his head and his eyes wearily looked over to the supernaturally carnivorous and foreboding plants. He cast a hand over one, the glide of his presence stirring the small vines to life as briefly as it loomed above them. He gave a small smirk and looked back to him. “Certainly. Though I wonder....what happened to your Master? His absence looms heavily on you it seems.” he inquired, his gaze unwavering as he opened a matter that could be most delicate.

“A creature worthy enough to indulge me for eternity deserves my occasional compliance. Is there a surprise I should be aware of? I do love it when she uses her claws.” he asked, his voice growling so softly it was nearly a purr.

“The Vatican’s Dog...” he mused and a devious glint appeared in his eye. “He’s a truly worthy specimen for the eyes of god. A left hand, yet loyalty to his faith unyielding. For a man to stand above monsters without finding corruption in his own heart and to let it consume him....” he laughed and grinned ever wider. “It makes me want to kill the bastard for myself that much more.” 

In the darkness behind her movement stirred; footfalls distinctly scuffing against the ground, with a foul smell preluding its appearance that could curdle dairy. Low breaths that softly hissed followed, something inhuman lurked near, and without a doubt seeked the new presence it felt appear. 

A deep voice spoke to her, its point of origin not foreseeable. 

“Cute trick.” he mused. @hellsspecialteam 

“Thank you for your felicitation.” he spoke quietly, his voice solemn. He rose from his seat and contemplated the stranger. His calmness was unnerving, the stir in his presence caused the room to grow cold. The beige wall behind him gave great contrast to his dark raven hair and black blouse. 

“Now take your leave. Unless death is what you seek.” he warned, unwilling for any to intrude upon his countess or his heirs.
