This relationship is so forced that it makes me sad. I know Jared has made some mistakes but that one Jachaela scene had more feeling than all the Zekaela ones.
Never in all my life have I been so affected by the words of a character on a TV show. Dr Miranda Bailey talking about how everyone she touched that day was fine, and everyone she placed into someone else's hands was fine. But her baby was not fine. And she couldn't hold her in her hands, or place her in someone else's hands and she isnt fine. She was and now she just isn't. I've lived through fetal death. And that speech just ripped out my heart and squeezed it until it popped. I am not ok.
I still can’t believe I managed to finish this chapter in such a short space of time, at least for my standards. Anyway, I can’t seem to stop writing this story even though I got like a million other things to do. Summary: When Emma agrees to be Killian’s fake girlfriend she expects it to be a one-time thing. However, and despite getting an enemy in the form of an overprotective brother, she ends up becoming an expert in the art of fake dating even though she can’t stand her fake boyfriend, at least at the beginning.

Liam took his time to prepare the hot drinks, keeping himself in a stubborn silence broken only by the sounds caused by his task, so Emma had no choice but to wait sitting on a stool at the kitchen island. This awkward silence, far from making her feel uncomfortable, allowed her to at least regain her composure and meditate on what had happened since she had accepted this stupid plan.
She had never found herself in such a surreal situation, about to be lectured by her fake boyfriend’s brother on Thanksgiving night and after having witnessed a performance in which said fake boyfriend pretended to have sex with her with the sole purpose of bothering his brother. It was almost like being part of a hilarious scene from a typical romcom.
Okay, the scene might not be funny, at least Liam’s serious expression while preparing the hot chocolate showed it, but that didn’t stop the beginning of a chuckle from bubbling in the back of her throat, so she had to press hard her lips together to hold back the incipient laughter.
“How do you prefer your chocolate, lass?” When Liam turned his head to address her, she made an effort to keep her back straight and a neutral expression on her face.
“With whipped cream and cinnamon if that’s ok, thank you.”
After uttering what seemed like a sound of approval, Liam returned his attention to the stove, ignoring her presence again. It was obvious that he didn’t know her at all if he thought that with that attitude he was going to make her nervous. It was rather the opposite, with each passing minute she gained more self-confidence. You wanna play? Let’s play, buddy.

Queen’s song echoed in the kitchen while Killian prepared dinner, the lyrics and their meaning slipping inside his mind and spreading a warm sensation all over his body.
A thought crossed his mind as he hummed and wagged his hips to the rhythm of the music, causing a wide smile to bloom on his lips. There was no doubt that Queen has been part of the soundtrack of his life since he was just a child, accompanying him in his childhood, changing and adapting to the experiences he went through over the years.
The band and their songs had been his only companions on his darkest nights, first when Liam had been about to die and then after losing Milah, when he had entered that spiral where he wasn’t able to do anything but drown his sorrows in sex and alcohol, get into fights —in an attempt to replace the heartache for the physical pain— and wallow in misery while listening to the saddest and most melancholy songs he could find.
It’s a Hard Life, Too Much Love Will Kill You, Save Me, Somebody to Love... He had listened to these songs in a loop, locked in his bedroom, repeating the same routine day after day until Liam had taken the reins, as usual, coming to his rescue and offering him the possibility of a new beginning on the other side of the ocean.
Now, five years later, he kept marveling at how his life had changed and how that was also reflected in his particular life soundtrack. He felt blessed to have found Emma for many reasons, but the fact that they shared musical tastes added an incentive to their relationship.
The change had been subtle at first, but after confessing their feelings two weeks ago, they had begun to replace their old companions with songs full of feelings and positivity. Once again Queen put the background music to a stage of his life, and this time he expected this stage to last as much as possible, something like forever.

I’ve been on vacation with a lot of children around and I’ve found it quite difficult to concentrate (among other inconveniences) but I finally managed to finish the chapter! Also, taking into account my usual habit, the chapter ended being super long, so I decided to split it into two parts. Emma should have suspected that the capture wasn’t going to be that easy. She didn’t even have time to address the skipper. The moment his eyes fell on her, the guy ran away like a bat out of hell. Shit!
So it was going to be one of those days… Emma resigned herself and did the only thing she could do, run after him. Her body at least seemed to accompany her — or maybe it was the desire to conclude this case. She kept the pace, at least for the first few minutes, but the asshole was in very good shape, and even though she was forcing her body up to its limit, the distance between them increased.
Her legs were starting to feel heavy, she was running out of breath and her lungs were burning from the exertion. Her frustration and anger were what kept fueling her to continue the persecution. Luckily the guy had gone into a nearby park, because she wouldn’t be able to deal with passersby or worse, with traffic.
She ran and ran in a frantic race, crossing the park at full speed, her heart threatening to get out of her rib cage while frustration grew in her as she watched the guy get farther and farther away.
Her long-awaited opportunity came just as she was about to give up. The guy found a stairway in his path and had to slow down as he descended. Emma did not think twice and acted impulsively, accelerating and shortening the distance until he finally came within reach. Without taking any time to assimilate the possible consequences of her act, she literally jumped on him, grabbing him by the jacket at the last moment.
In retrospect, she should have kept her mind cold or not act so recklessly, without assessing the risks of her actions. At that time, though, her urge to get home was what prompted her to act that way. And she would have achieved her goal if it were not for something as ordinary as gravity, or as the saying goes, what goes up must come down. She and her prey were not going to be an exception, of course.

so........ they brought my baby michael back for 5 minutes only to show that he has moved on to a woman that doesn't even fit him? they did him so dirty this season. anyway, michael and jane admitting they were destined for each other in front of charlie..... that's basically all i remember from this episode!
Even with Brett playing basically a completely different character, his chemistry with Gina still shines through. I can’t believe Jennie really saw that once-in-a-lifetime chemistry and just went “nah, I’m good”.
i cannot believe the absolute dumpster fire that jtv has become. every week i don’t think that it can get worse, but here they go. please leave michael ALONE!! that man has suffered more than enough and you throwing some random woman at us and expecting us to be grateful happy about it is insane. michael was a MAIN character and was the MAIN love interest for over half of the shows run. the writing is just laughable at this point that michael, whose entire identity was being a detective and tracking down rose, doesn’t have a final scene with her or isn’t the one to take her down?? like make it make sense!! the single storyline that jsu wanted to see through was jane and rafael ending up together and the reception to that has been piss poor
