Without realizing, I found myself trying to play the tune that I’ve heard you play a hundred times. Years ago, on those lazy afternoons spent in our hideout, they often lulled me to sleep. Foolishly, I thought these days would never change.

It’s been years, since I’ve last seen you. Years.

Now I had broken into the old music store. Sat at the piano, reminiscing. The tune came out all clumsy and awry. Broken.

Frustrated, I slammed my fist into the keys as the first tears dropped down on my hands. The piano made a jarring sound.

I missed you.

But then, starled by the sudden sound of footsteps on crunching shards of glass, I lifted my head and blinked at the approaching figure.

“Hyung”.

It was broken, clumsy, wrong in all places, but lured in by the sound, you were led back to me.

I still can’t get over the fact that this is 100% canon HYYH, and none of it made up 😳 I merely switched the perspective and wrote from Kookie’s instead.
