Decided to go minimalist. Been carrying this set up for about 3 months on my belt and loving it. Contents has endless possibilities for the modern world. Here's a list. James brand elko knife and keys. iPod shuffle. Duct tape with Kevlar cord inside. Power practical arc lighter and torch. Vaseline. Money. Uncle bill's tweezers. Native union power bang and charge cable 800mah. Usb. Aloksak just incase. Weighs in very light and doesn't bulge. No one has really noticed it.
Quick look at the razor edge on my bushcraft forged knife. From file to field knife in two days in a woodland. Forged in a hole in the ground with oxygen and heat.
They said it couldn't be done. A bushcraft forge in November. Spent last weekend making a knife basic tools and previsions.
Quick pocket dump. Changed the carabinier the other one had too many edges.
Working on a kuksa. Bow staves ready and split. Time spent free of modern constraints #nophone
Basic EDC but covers the essentials. Been my regular carry now for six months and still going strong.
It's been a while since I posted last. Last week's fun in the forest testing my wiglaf axe. Made it easy to set up a lean to shelter for the week. This bad boy axe packs a punch and is very versatile really happy with it. The shelter kept me dry all week slept like a log. Found that one tool option at last.

Kevlar cord is back approximately 10ft with a carbide brake bead. The Kevlar cord has a 200lb breaking strength handy to have strong cord in your pockets. It makes a awesome friction saw known to be able to cut plastic and even some wood. Other uses are down to the users imagination i used it to break into my own car recently. One of those have it and not need it than need it and not have it items.
Guinness and gear. Hankie makes a good beer mat had to use the kelvar cord so waiting for some more. Standard EDC these days custom victorinox and true utility fire stash with the trusted streamlight micro stream.
Owned a lot of flashlight but this streamlight ranks number one in my opinion. I am always gravitating back to this AAA power house. It can run a 3.7v battery if needs must and the hot spot is spot on.
Been a busy boy. Decided to hand stitch a custom hankie. It's Kevlar backed with cotton front. Small pocket for Kevlar cord and velcro loop for small hook patches. The Kevlar is heat resistant so you can handle hot items. I will do more pictures of the hankie soon. A new phone the cat60 made tough with a flir thermal imaging camera. The best part is the huge battery. I have also been working on the 100% wool blanket jumper. Which i have hand stitched in the woods with basic tools and supplies.
Last Sunday's airsoft adventure. Tried shield and scorpion submachine gun for some point and prey. Then moved on to the AK-47 for accuracy and annihilation of the enemy. Sewn some velcro on the wazoo cap for patches. Had the wndsn patch on from http://store.wndsn.com/.
Picked up a petzl e-lite 2 and decided to go for a EDC neck carry set up. It’s a work in progress but this lightweight set up worked well on a long distance hike.
