Yeah I know, this is the second time I've heard this.
People don't do that, even in normal conversation. There's a reason why the majority of us aren't okay with it. Even if it's not everyone who's upset by it, it's enough to know that the majority of the community isn't okay because a lot of us have grown up being made fun of by those types of jokes. Idk how anyone expects us just to be okay with it just because a small portion of the community is.

People use "et cetera" not random fucking objects, and that makes sense given my recent writing class DID NOT teach me that device. I have a whole book on fucking writing devices and that was not covered anywhere so I'm not inclined to believe the one anon I see say that. Anecdotal evidence for that kind of thing isn't enough, and I'd rather trust my professor over yall just saying.
