Bloodshed gives way to more bloodshed. Hatred breeds more hatred. Until all of the violence soaks into the land, carving rivers of blood. And no matter how many times it happens, they never learn. Humans are made up of violent, miserable fools.

I always thought we’d left the forest behind, but it turns out the world was still about killin’ and being killed. It’s just a bigger forest. I think Sasha got killed ‘cause she got lost in that forest. We should at least get the kids out o’ the forest. Otherwise they’ll just keep runnin’ in circles forever.
