Not at all!

So, what I did was write my site in HTML and CSS from scratch and then hosted it on Neocities. Which, for a little bit of background, I had a li'l leg up on because I learned HTML in high school and then picked both it and CSS back up recently for my day job, and my partner was a huge help in understanding some of the backend type stuff for editing and adding a bit of Javascript. It has its pros and cons versus using something like Squarespace, or even using a framework to help shortcut the HTML/CSS--some stuff on the page is still a little broken, and I haven't fixed it yet!

If you're interested in going down the same path I did, there are lots of resources available! I started with (the free parts of) Codecademy, but Neocities itself has a page on learning skills for website building, and personally if I was going to start over I think that's where I'd begin. Otherwise, if picking that up is too intimidating or time consuming (very understandable!) you can look into WYSIWYG ("what you see is what you get") editors like Squarespace, Wordpress, or Wix, which I believe are more built to drag and drop page elements onto a site so you can see it as its being built, and you don't have to mess with the code part (unless you want to!).

The raffle is separate! It's only for a $6 headshot that will be drawn on stream. The $10 membership gets you the same thing, but I will not be drawing those on stream, they'll just be drawn and posted in my own time each month.

If you have a membership and want to try to buy a second headshot this month, you are certainly welcome to enter the raffle as well, but I will be counting memberships when I count how many headshots an entrant has on record and how recently they've gotten a headshot, just to make it fair for newer folks who have not gotten headshots through other means.

And last but not least, a design for koronair! I had drawn Argent a few times before, so it was delightful to get to stretch my design legs for him! 🖤

Finally, I got to work on two design commissions this time around! This one is for @wayfaringstar, and I had so much fun designing for Thelasa again! 🖤 Perhaps it's not surprising that I'm a sucker for Morrowind designs. :P

Aaand next commission is this fine adventuring party for Finieril! I loved working with such varied characters and designs, it was a joy~ 🖤

Next commission is for TheParlourPoet on Twitter! I got my pick of characters, so I picked this wonderful tiefling--so cute, and so many fun details to work with!! 🖤

Ahh, that's always a fun idea in general, and a cool thing to explore, but naw, no whole scenarios, I'm afraid--it's just not where my brain settles with Tev and Dren!
