The first completed card and a couple of line art WIPs for the FFXIV playing card collection. I found a couple of new brushes for inking and I am living, I tell you what!

Prints of completed cards will be available on the $20 tier of Patreon soon, and once the deck's completed the usual colouring book will be made out of the line art for download. In the meantime, the usual reminder that nothing I do is possible without the fine folks over there, so consider joining us if you can.

More WIPs for the FFXIV playing card project. It's so much fun reaching this stage that I haven't actually finished any single card yet, hehe...

As usual, a heartfelt plea to help me out over on Patreon if you'd like to support the making of this deck. A dollar a month can make all the difference for me!

Last month I was supposed to table at a convention, but had to stay home due to COVID instead. So extra things are for sale on Patreon now, plus the usual rewards for signing up. Please consider taking a look!

Check it out! The first few WIPs of the FFXIV playing card project. Aiming to be a bit bolder with colours in this deck!

As usual, a heartfelt plea to help me out over on Patreon if you'd like to support the making of this deck. A dollar a month can make all the difference for me, and allow you a more behind the scenes look at the creation process.

The FF Oracle deck is just about ready to go! Sales to start around early November. As always, sales are catered to Patreon members first. Just a dollar a month will get you access to pretty much all content including the shop, and a few bucks more will earn you some other neat rewards.

I cannot overstate the importance of Patreon to the creation of merch like this, especially in this era of unreliable social media... so if you've got a few spare bucks per month please consider joining us over there!

The style of the artwork is more suited to be on cards than any of my other decks I reckon. Because of a few factors this print is fairly limited and I'm not sure there will be another, so do sign up if you're interested!

Comrades, chapter 1.3.

Tremendously difficult for me to admit this, but I have to be honest with myself and recognise that I just don't have the time to render this next chapter to completion. I've been holding on to these pages for almost a year at this point - I've scripted so much of this story, but if I'm going to get it all out, bare bones at at times will have to do.

Next chapter will likely be sketchy as well... but one way or another I still want to tell this tale.

If you're still here and still interested... my sincerest thanks!

WoL and i are having lots of fun being all up in other characters' personal space.

if you're having fun watching us and have a few spare bucks each month to toss our way, please consider my Patreon! nothing - i stress nothing - i do is possible without the support of the good people over there. even a dollar a month makes all the difference.

and, as the story progresses and the comics become a bit more self-referencing, a reminder that everything's collected on AO3 for easy reading. comments and kudos appreciated! on tumblr, all the comics share the 'crim's modern art' tag so you can also find them that way.

i really like reading all your tags and comments on each addition too. thanks for making my ffxiv journey extra fun by reading along!

Another little batch from the FF Oracle deck which is nearly completion. We have about 14 cards left to go.

And somehow, most of the female protagonists were assigned to elements. I think these make quite a vibrant bunch, wouldn't you agree?

As always, any amount you can spare to support the project is greatly appreciated! Rewards on Patreon start from a single dollar a month but the more you pledge the more there is.

Deck should be ready to go by September!

(Gonna try and preempt the inevitable 'but where is [other character]?' comments by saying, either they're in another picture set, or they missed picture day! Please don't comment that way, thank you!)
