I’ve got a new favorite guy at work. At some point, we established that both of us watch Dungeon Meshi and so now every time we run into each other, he asks if I’ve seen the latest episode, and regardless of my answer, he recaps everything that happened. He doesn’t offer opinions or interpretations on the events. Just describes the events. And I’m like “dude. I know. I watched it too.” And he’s like “yeah man. There was a water ball full of ghosts that shot someone in the head.” And I’m like “hell yeah there was,” and the conversation is over. Fascinating. I’ve never had one like it. He is the only person that I wish to receive media analysis from.
