I made some test Pokemon buttons that have a domed resin surface, they turned out pretty good! My only complaint is that they’re a little flimsy, so I’m thinking of attaching wooden discs on the back to make it sturdier.
marimba-ing in jubilife city for anon!
Geodude probably would be a better choice for this concept, but I wanted to draw a Carbink so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

In Pokémon Black, White, Black 2, and White 2, Grimsley appears as an Elite Four Trainer of Unova.
He is the son of a distinguished family that fell into ruin. As a result, he developed a gambling addiction.
Grimsley reappears in Pokémon Sun and Moon at Route 15, where he assists the player by registering Sharpedo into their Ride Pager.
“Man oh man… What is going on today? Someone actually bothered coming to this kind of sad place? Well, no matter. I’ll take you on. Keep you company. Tell me. Uncle Grimsley is going to flip a coin. Will it be heads or tails?“ - Grimsley (Route 15)
“The winner takes everything, and there’s nothing left for the loser” - Grimsley (Battle Tree)
According to an interview with Yusuke Ohmura in Nintendo Dream, Grimsley’s design is themed on both vampires (specifically Dracula himself) and gambling. In Alola he has black and white clothes (maybe a “tribute” to Pokémon Black and White games) so the gambling reference is no visible anymore on his outfit (but surely it hasn’t disappeared from his manners).
Dark type Pokémon usually represent all the things that are “tricky”, mischievous, and sometimes evil (but not always) or related to bad luck, and sometimes to death and nightmares. Dark type Pokémon moves are related to things like stealth, evil thoughts, frauds. Usually evil teams use a lot of dark type Pokémon for this reason. This doesn’t mean at all that all the dark type users are bad people (think about Karen and Nanu, for example), but usually dark type users are depicted like not very responsible persons and solitary ones. Maybe that’s why there isn’t a dark type gym leader.
