JEREMY FRAGRANCE - "My heart beats for Revachol, I want to have a girlfriend soon!" The well-groomed man beams at you. He has said these two things, one after the other, seamlessly, as if they are related somehow.

ELECTROCHEMISTRY - Oh, he's definitely on something. Ask him what he's on. It's got to be the good shit.

LOGIC - Let's not be too judgmental. He is not from here. Maybe this is normal behavior in.... wherever it is?

PERCEPTION - He smells amazing. Perhaps forgive him his eccentricities?

SAVOIR FAIRE - This suave motherfucker is wearing the hell out of that outfit! Ask him what he’s wearing!

JEREMY FRAGRANCE - "I am really preciously looking now for a girlfriend. I wanna find the right one.” He smiles, again, beatifically. His teeth are gleaming white.

DRAMA - He means it, sire.

EMPATHY - It’s been a long, long time.

HALF LIGHT - You need to get the fuck out of here immediately.

[ID: a drawing of a cat walking away from a person but one of her front claws is stuck to the person's shirt, so her arm is pulled under her body as she leaves. the person, looking frustrated, says "gertrude" as they try to grab the cat.]

E.J Sue’s “Mechaforce” is one of the few “How to Draw” books I would point newbies looking to get into drawing robots to. It emphasises knowing the basics (Very difficult to draw a robot properly if you can’t use perspective) and fundamental shapes and even arm techniques, and gives a neat insight into how mechanical forms work in art.

These are just a few of the examples from the anatomy section of the book. It’s currently on sale on Amazon and worth checking out, though I will note it is not a “be all end all” resource, thankfully you can fill in your knowledge gaps elsewhere.
