I bet some people see me, a genderfluid person and go "You're genderfluid. Just be a girl in the dating sim game if you can't be a boy or gender neutral. It's not a big deal."

...I don't CHOOSE what gender I identify as. Not every genderfluid person has a on/off, switch whenever they like switch, for their gender identity and presentation.

I haven't truly felt connected with identifying as a woman in so fucking long tbh. But there are small times I do.

But not enough to feel comfortable to be seen as a girl in games, especially in dating sims. Where the love interests will refer to me with feminine pronouns and see me as just a woman. Than as a man or gender neutral. Which will trigger gender dysphoria so hard for me in those moments, to the point I won't be able to enjoy the game/story or play anymore.

That's why I love the option of the MC being able to be more than just a woman...That they can be a man too, or genderless at that. And it's even more nicer when you are able to freely change your pronouns and all during gameplay.

As a genderfluid/trans and queer person, I appreciate that feature so much. And I'm sure other trans and queer people, who relate with me on this, feel the same way too.

Yes MC from OM is gender neutral but a lot of ya sure love to act like they aren't canonly. This can apply with other dating sim games too fyi...Especially visual novels.

Lost count of how many times, the MC by default is gender neutral, to be inclusive to all players. That even the devs in times if answering questions to fans about the MC. Will refer to the MC as gender neutral to be inclusive of all readers.

But many fans love to default to calling the MC she/her, a girl/woman only in those moments. Than use they/them and see them genderless or gender neutral for all.

You're fine to personally see your MC as just a girl/woman, you're fine to have them personally referred to with she/her pronouns only.

But what's not fine, is you trying to gatekeep how we all can refer to the MC. To falsely state what is "true canon" over their gender and all. As well to act like the game(s) are only catering to one group of people. When in reality it's been catering to any and all players around. To be inclusive and player friendly to everyone. No matter their gender, pronouns and sexuality/romantic(whether it be attraction or lack of fyi) identity.

If you hate that the MC and the game, is inclusive to more than just girls/women. Then go find and play a game that clearly only caters to women. And let us enjoy these inclusive games, and stop seeing otome as only for women/girls now.

The word has been shown to be expanded now through countless games who fall under that category. That have been clearly openly inclusive to any and ALL PLAYERS. Not just to women.

So to anyone who says "otome games are just for girls/women". That isn't the case anymore, and you better get used to this fact. Because expect to see more otome games coming out soon, that are inclusive to more than just women/girls players.

If I didn't give her what I had before by force...I'm sure she would of been pushing me nonstop rn to get work to make money, to just give it all to her. to stress me out more, and just abuse me more.

She can't bitch about me spending my own money on stuff I want, or however I want. She even said it her self many times over. It's my money, I get to use it however I like.

Well, I'll just do that then more. But with some lying involved on when things actually got or will be charged. Just to prevent this crap in the future happening again hopefully.

I will still try to help however I can, because in the end of the day...I sadly do still care about her...

But gonna put some changes and limits on things now. Like they say don't let people take advantage of me, abuse me and crap...Yet here they are, my own parents, being the greatest hypocrites and abuses in my life.

This is my only advantage honestly on saving money it seems...If she can't keep track of what I earn or get...she can't quickly take away my funds. Unless I tell her or give it to her.

Yes lying is bad as they say...but sometimes you gotta fucking lie to survive. especially in abusive fucking relationships.
