My attempt at a "One second from every SxF episode" kind of thing, though with so many iconic moments I decided to go "One second from each respective manga chapter, with added 1-second anime-only scenes" but that's a mouthful

Westalis was mentioned in the news report, but Loid only gave the television a cursory glance before turning back to the task at hand. He wouldn't be able to hear over the racket anyways.

The dog was yowling, Anya tugging on his shirt as he tried to scrub the cocoa off the carpet.

Operation Strix will be the end of me. His feet had already surrendered themselves for the cause, his big toe sore and blue.

"I won't step on your foot again, Papa." Another tug, and Loid grimaced. Anya was earnest—admirably so—but her frantic tone made him wonder if he'd come across as too demanding, if he'd been unreasonable.

Loid turned and patted Anya's head. "It's alright. You can have fun without—"

"No!" Another tug. "Show me how to dance!"

"Show you?" Loid sighed. "I'd need a partner for—"

And that was when he saw Yor.

She looked as she always did: a cozy sweater and her hair gathered up in a ponytail as she swept away with the broom. But there was an understated grace to her movements, the way she gripped the handle. Gentle but firm.

The first notes of a song started up on the radio, and Loid, without thinking, made for Yor's direction.

"Would you like to dance?"

The broom slipped from Yor's hands.

"Me?" Yor squeaked. Already, her face had turned red, a shade likely matching his own.

"It's for..." I can't mention the mission! Think, Twilight! Think!

But there was no time to think. Not when Yor was shifting backwards, towards the pile of glass shards.

"Careful!" His hand found its way to the small of her back, surprising her into taking a step closer—a step closer to him.

Loid froze.

Yor's breath hitched.

But she didn't flinch.

Slowly, Loid's hand slid down from her back to rest on her waist. The other hand found its way to hers, their fingers lacing just as she brought a hand to rest on his shoulder.

Then, they started to sway. Loid's eyes made their way up to the ceiling as Yor's gaze shifted downwards.

"Watch our footwork, Anya." He didn't check to see if she was, but there was no need. The giggling told him enough.

Yor's steps were slow but light and his feet were all the more thankful for it. It was almost nice, to let himself get carried away, to focus on something as simple as dance steps. Perhaps Yor felt the same; her hand was starting to relax.

Loid snuck a glance down at Yor. There was a far-off, almost tranquil look in her eyes. As if they were waltzing away at a ball instead of a cramped kitchen.

He couldn't help but smile.

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Anya turn back towards the TV; you could hold that child's attention for only so long. Yor glanced at the radio, the song coming to an end.

They kept dancing anyways.

This was supposed to be an April Fools' Day post, but I got busy and missed it 🫠 I like how it turned out so I'll post it anyways.

There were a bunch of outfits of other characters that I wanted to see the Forgers wear (I also got an excuse to draw skinny Bond with this), so that's what I did.
