On Monday, 21st March 2016, Cory Michael Smith aka Ed Nygma aka The Riddler (aka my sweetiepie) had a 50 minute livestream on Facebook before the new episode aired. I watched it whole.
People on the chat kept asking about Jerome, and finally some of those comments caught his eye, and he laughed, and then confirmed it in front of 7000 viewers, that Jerome is coming back to show. But we just don’t know when. My guess is season 3.
And Jada Pinkett Smith aka Fish Mooney is also coming back (she was already seen on set) and who knows who else. Probably it all is thanks to scary doctor Hugo Strange who keeps dead bodies in those tubes like it’s a Jurassic Park.
Anyway. The news came out 2 days ago and I’m just wondering why isn’t tumblr hashtag jerome valeska already freaking out. Because this is a fact. We will have the Joker Gotham deserves.

We did freak out… There were quite a few big posts about it. However, I think his fandom has shrunk a little. Some people have moved on I think. But when he comes back, he’ll gain a whole new slew of them and this tag will flourish once again.
I’m not ready. Hopefully he comes back as he was, probably a little darker, but it isn’t rising from the dead that makes him Joker. Later on he falls into the chemicals and becomes Joker. I don’t want his hair green and skin chalky yet. He’s perfect the way he is - our little ginger maniac. Lord knows he’s plenty jokerish already. I’d like to have some more time with just Jerome. Am I alone here?
